I struggle with studying the Bible and came upon this channel. This video made me open my Bible, take notes and listen intently to the word. Thank you!

Oh, but I don’t struggle anymore studying the Bible and it was one year ago or two years ago. I struggled doing everything else because all I wanna do is spend time with the Lord and read his word because he just tells me so much and it just loves me away, and I hate and, our time together in the word even though he’s always with me absolutely everything I do. Thank you Pastor has used you beyond well. Let’s just say you also are an indescribable gift.

@2:23..."Nehemiah...he's my favorite!" This is truly said of me. I've always thought that if, by God's grace, l make it to heaven and meet this man of God, l might be tempted to bow before him. He has *ALWAYS* been an inspiration to me. I have always thrilled reading about his life. Outside of the Bible l have another book on his daring ministry. His most famous statement is on one of my cell phone thumbnails-- *"The joy of the Lord is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10).

What an interesting role - an FBI chaplain. We can all relate to Nehemiah as prisoners of war in Satan's world , patiently waiting on Yahweh's deliverance. Thank you the role you played in supporting survivors of the Sept. 11th 2001 tragedy. It can take a lifetime to come to terms with PTS, but your spiritual, intellectual and therapeutic explanation of Scripture is godsend.

I'm so grateful for these videos...as a new Christian, I'm struggling through the OT (and I'm determined to make it) and would be lost without Skip holding my hand and bringing these accounts to life 💗💗💗 in my entire life, I never thought about visiting the middle east and now I dream of it every day. that's how rich this experience is.

Ezra's prayer in Neh. 9:5-38 Should be read by our nation. We have sinned and fallen so short of the glory of God. But praying in repentance noting who God truly is and praising Him and thanking Him for everything especially for Him is joyful to our souls and to God letting Him know We know Your goodness love mercy and grace for us and want to be with You always In Jesus precious mighty holy name Amen

I told myself that I would always bring my Bible To church service, But I got very frustrated with so many Bible versions I never ever found a place where the pastor was reading, all those versions are written so differently they don’t look like I had the same chapter let alone the same scripture,. I just couldn’t read along. so I stopped bringing it along, so why couldn’t we all have the same Bible in the church or put it up on for everyone to see that would be a great idea. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

25:21 evidence that they were sworn enemies of the Jews? This could have been an opportunity for Nehemiah to not proudly say he was the king's cup bearer, but he could have informed them that the king, the same one who ordered the same wall to be torn down, actually ordered it to be rebuilt.

I have visited many churches and found surprisingly few that play joyful worship music. The trend today, in most churches, is soft, slow, quiet, introspective, boring worship. It really is a shame because we have so much to celebrate!

Really,.. I find it's the contrary, the praise & worship in many churches nowadays is very contemporary, which is wonderful, but singing hymns now and again is always welcome;-) Not complaining tho', I love my church's vibrant worship services!

I am a bit upset here pastor and because I was in the middle of writing a comment on one of your Nehemiah proverbs, and I was rudely turned off...Now, that is not very christian like. Someone in there is very jealousy or, does not know their God, at all and for God does not turn people off when they are speaking to him R U D E...
