This is my second weekend of freedom. I spent the previous 22 weekends in Tazewell County jail in Southwestern Virginia. I live here in the opposite end of Virginia than where you are from. I spent from February 6 to March 12 in jail then was able to do weekends for the remainder of my sentence. Because they still have an 8 day quarantine I had to be locked down 23 and 1 every weekend. Turned myself in every Friday at 7:00pm and got released every Sunday at 7:00pm and I can't even express how difficult it was to turn myself in every Friday all summer while friends and family are planning their weekend cookouts and getaways.

I used to hate it when the other weekenders would get there early then by Sunday they would get released at 7:00 am but I would have to stay until 7pm because I always turned myself in late in the day on Friday.

So I was in a similar situation when I was 15 to 17 years old. We kept it pretty hush hush for two years, but was caught by my mother when she picked up the land line phone in her bedroom, and we didn’t hear her so we said things that ole momma shouldn’t hear her son, and the substitute teacher talking about doing. So that was how the whole story came out. Mom flips out makes a scene, cops get called she tried to press charges on the lady who at the time of our encounter was 31, But needless to say the lady’s father was pretty influential in the community seeing how he was the city mayor for years, and years. Her mother was a school administrator also. Nothing ever happened to her really, my mother seen her out a couple of times and tried to throw a beat down her way, which caused the family to file a restraining order against mother. Pretty crazy times in that little town of Florence Alabama.

I know the first few years after I came home from doing 11 in 2009 I was institutionalized, and familiarized every situation I was in with my past prison life. It got old after a while, and the stigma that I carried from being known for being institutionalized became embarrassing once my point of view changed; and I realized how dumb and childish everything about it is. I say that to say I'm surprised you aren't completely burnt out from talking about that nonsense, because I can tell you're at that point too. I home you remain successful in your endeavors, and find something else that you're passionate about that works for you since this particular endeavor gets old so quickly

I have a good friend who went through this same scenario. They were in their late twenties, and they had two little girls. She was having an affair with a 15 year old neighbor kid and got pregnant. I live in Belvidere, N.C. so I get all the Virginia references. I'm right near the border.
