I grew up in Co-op on in sec 3, went to Truman and even taught at P.S.153 with the Board of Ed. Moved to Florida 2004 but we still got our apt there with my older brother at the helm. So many memories good and bad.

I can't forget the early days of Covid when co-op city exploded each evening in spontaneous support for our hero health care workers. The clamoring echoed around the brick canyons clear out to Orchard Beach. Truly inspirational.

I lived in Co-op City YEARS ago, so many memories. I lived in building 24, Benchley place, when the building first opened. I live in North Carolina now. My Dad helped use to be on the Board Of Directors.😀

Not hardly. It is very well maintained, the apartments are big and spacious and you have access to a great number of stores and other facilities. Very short sighted comment.
