Looks more like your mowing hay in the lower 40! 😂 On a different note, I’m shocked that a strapping young man of this homeowners age, can stand there and complain to you about his mower not cutting the long grass, to me is unapologetically pitiful. I say this because I am a 70 year old woman who does her own yard work and have for 50 plus years. I weed wack, mow, pick up and burn fallen limbs, I spread grass seed and fertilizer, plant and maintain my vegetable and flower garden, and trim all my bushes annually. I even pick up the neighbors garbage debris that blows into the street after garbage pick up that lands in front of my house. So this young man’s “explanation” holds no water with me. All that said, your work along with Mr Rake, was phenomenal. Beautiful job as always.

@@ilvcountry 😆 I love that… you go girl! Years ago I pressure washed my driveway, trailer pad and front walkway. All that with just a nozzle, not with the rotating surface disk you see all the pressure washers using today. I was splitting wood on the wood splitter for two days, and it’s taken me three days resting, to cope with the hip pain. 🤣 But… tomorrow, I need to wash down all my patio furniture in preparation for repainting. Ha! It never ends, does it my friend. Stay safe.

Yep, 69-year-old female with a 2 acre yard. I use battery push mower, live in the south where it's hot as hades. I cut one quarter each day, more if the weather isn't oppressive, while everyone else in the neighborhood is riding on their mowers and still don't keep yards up. I like the exercise and being outdoors. All my tools are battery, btw. Chain saw to mower, my favorite is the handheld mini chainsaw. Game changer for trimming bushes and small limbs.

I've cut my neighbors' grass when they didn't have a mower. All we asked of them was to buy the gas it would take to cut theirs and mine. We even would do the weed eating for them. You would have thought I was asking for $50 for a cut instead of a 5-gallon jug of gas that would last 2 weeks at a time for both yards. Other neighbors we helped out didn't complain at all, they would offer more but we told them to just pay for gas. There was one lady who would cook meals and make goodies for us on top of having a jug of gas for us. We soon stopped helping out the one neighbor who instead of being thankful, would grumble. Sometimes the good neighbors have to end up acting like AH and stop the dependency and entitlement of those who won't help their own selves and expect others to do for them.

My mouth dropped open when I saw the Before & After.!!! What a bloody brilliant job!! Doesn't even look like it's the same house!! I bet you've made quite a few neighbors happy. If he doesn't maintain the lawn then maybe they should get a team going so it doesn't get out of hand again. Maybe you can convinced a lazy side to help. Maybe you can convince the lazy sod to help. Lol 🙂🇨🇦✌️

Such a dramatic change! So much hard work and persistence at hand... Really enjoyed this and look forward to seeing the (da da dum) BACKYARD! You are brave to do this- I kept waiting for creepy-crawlies to come out of the grass or dirt or trees. Maybe they were there but not visible on camera? Great job and such a blessing to the owner.
