You know how there's a carbon crisis and a massive drought and alarming levels of global warming? You know what we use most of our water on? Lawns. You know what happens when you clear all the deep root shade bushes and weeds so a lawn can look nice? The soil can't hold as much water, and the microbes in the soil that would otherwise be handling all the bio waste, they die out and stop turning that waste into carbon in the ground. You're part of the problem homie. Life is carbon. You are chopping up carbon nuggets and letting them gas off in the atmosphere, by the ton if business is booming. What is supposed to happen is all that biowaste should be consumed by animals, sht on the ground, and then consumed by worms, sht in the ground, and then consumed by bacteria and fungus, and then when they die, their corpses are pushed down, so all the carbon stays in the ground. And bonus that same system holds water like moss. But not if you kill all the bushes, and weeds, to expose a clean cut lawn. Then the lawn with it's shallow roots and no shade, it need constant watering to stay green. HOA's are criminal organizations destroying the future of all humanity for the sake of visual conformity. And if you actually cared for your property, or your own life, and that of all children yet to be born, you might change careers and start encouraging permaculture and wild ecosystem development. Instead of helping idiots continue to destroy the planet to meet delusional standards their war torn and lead poisoned grandparents programmed into their brains. Nobody taught you this. It's not your fault. But now you know. Learn how to turn what you do into a solution. And don't take my word for it. Just google the carbon cycle, and water saving methods of land management. You can make even more money and start being a solution instead of the problem. You just need to learn how to create a healthy ecosystem that looks pretty and incorporate that into your landscaping and business model. Life is a carbon battery. You have the skills to be charging it up. You just need to change your perspective a little bit. Your customers will go out of their way and come out their wallets to thank you. Also I double dog mfkn dare you. Have a good one homie.

HOAs are run by tinpot Mussolinis. Power mad, they probably were Hall Monitors in their schooldays. In most states, people already have the federal, state, county, and town governments to contend with. Why add another layer of government? What’s the benefit? If God did not intend for them to be sheared, He would not have made them sheep.

Yeah some HOAs start fining the person over stuff like this. When the fines are so much they can take a lien on the house and foreclose it. And often someone on the HOA board or their family is a real estate agent. Guess it's a good racket to run if they have no morals and want to feel like they're back in high school bullying people.

What an HOA should be is a group of people who live in a community and look after each other. NOT an enforcement organization. If you see that someone's yard is looking neglected, don't jump them with a fine. Check to see if they are sick, injured, lost a spouse, suffering from depression and so on . Then help them if they need help, form a group within the HOA to help them out. Many hands make quick work. This way the neighborhood looks nice and the area is peaceful and friendly. We all need a little help sometime. Be kind to one another, you may be the next one to need help. TNLC - thank you. The world needs more people like you! ❤

Great work! You should send the bill to the neighbor that complained. As if they would work for free. I'm glad that you were able to help this lady but you shouldn't have been bullied into it.

If I were the neighbor paying him to cut my lawn, I'd be kind of pissed to learn he was cutting other lawns just like mine for free.

What a kind and generous spirited person you are. You are an inspiration to all. I try every day to do a kindness for someone even if it is only saying thank you to someone for simply doing their job and not ignoring them. You beat me hands down. Thank you for reminding me that there are many more kind people about than the miseries that are HOAs

Did it ever occur to the neighbor to maybe stop complaining and help the lady out by doing the yard work for her? I cut my elderly neighbors grass every time I cut my own because I know she is not able to do it, and I don't mind doing it for her! That's what neighbors do around here!

When people lack empathy, when they judge other's, it only proves who they really are. Keep doing the good thing's, never let other's change what is in your heart. I'm 56, a Veteran, first time grandpa ( 2 month's ago, a girl, fraternal twin boy's due, in December) my younger brother and I are caregivers of our mother. I've been told to walk away and live my own life. I refuse. Your a good man, because of this video I'm subscribing.

Excellent job 👍 the world needs more people like you with a heart ! HOA’s are cash cows run by narcissistic, entitled , nosey , heartless busy bodies ( we have similar here in Britain but they’re called management companies, they’re parasites ) Those neighbours and the HOA should be ashamed of themselves for picking on a recently widowed lady instead of helping her ! Thank you for being a decent human being and I hope the lady is doing well. Respect and best wishes from Britain 🇬🇧🇺🇸( subscribed )

Thank you for helping where others simply turned a blind eye and complained. Your heart truly is in the right place. When I have looked for homes and sometimes apartments too, if there's an HOA, I walk away. I'm not going to rent or buy a place where someone else is going to tell me how it should look and what I can do inside of it.

It's a sad fact that so many of these HOA's put profit over people. Good HOA's take care of the parking strip next to the road. This way, the neighborhood looks good, even in times where the actual yard isn't moved! Pat yourself on the back for being the good guy on this one. You helped a person who needed and deserved it. 😍😍🤩🤩🥰😘

My father lives in an HOA his HOA goes around counting the weeds in everyone's yard if their are more than 13 weeds you are fined. What an actual waste of time and money since the HOA pays someone to do this. My father knows this since he served as VP on the board when he moved in. He wanted to understand how things worked in this neighborhood. The President had 2 heart attacks he felt was due to the stress levels of the HOA. They harass people into selling their home if the HOA feels they do not take care of the property to their standard.

I used to work as a foreman gardener for an HOA over here in England. One of their board members used to open her front door and an overweight dog on expanding leash would wobble out, then crap on the lawn i was cutting and go back in, then the front door would close. I once, on seeing this, sneaked over and gently trowelled the dogshit back onto the front doorstep and hid behind the bushes on the other side of the lawn. Not long afterwards, out come Mrs. Pain-in-the-neck, only to step on said gift. She screamed, flew back indoors and i could hear shouting from where i was laughing, trying not to pis myself. However it did have the desired effect as the dog never crapped on that lawn again. We had been known to refuse to cut lawns due to the amount of dogshit on them. I know of two people who went blind in one eye due to Toxicara Cannii, a bug carried in dogs mess, which causes blindness in humans. HOAs generally are run by power crazy people who were mollycoddled or spoilt as kids and are probably anally retentative. This happened in the late 1970s.

-Frank Tuckwell Excellent move, sir! I've done that in my non-HOA neighbourhood. The dogs poop on my front yard so I return it to the owners, right on their doorstep. Hugs from Canada!!

OMG!! You are a gardener with actual knowledge! I subscribed at six minutes in, after you did not waste time with the trimmer trying to get all that turf up, and had demonstrated that you know how to use a pair of secateurs. Only English gardeners, in my experience, pay attention to such niceties. And then you handled the trees so well. And the blower. Not that I don’t enjoy a good slash and bag job, but not in a planned and established garden. Thank you so much! 🇨🇦
