I have said this before, and I will say it again, Ryan. You have struck gold with Damo...and her with you. Love each other, my friend. Nothing else matters in life. You two are so blessed....
They can also manage breeding pools for pregnant fish. Sell small fish and the equipment for the ponds and fish to go into. They can offer a service to build ponds and gardens to then spend more quality time outside where it can be cooler as well.

You are quite the coffee connoisseurs Ryan and Damo. I know how you feel, we all have coffee we love. I would order Hawaiian Kona coffee back in Alaska. Expensive beans, but had money back then. That "cafe" tropical garden, fish pond, and stream is pretty amazing and beautifully designed ... Great to see the kids excited and happy together during this outing. Thanks again. Peace and Love Y'all

Really enjoyed this one guys. loved seeing the kids having a new adventure and playing together. I appreciate that a lot of child raising falls to the grandparents in many, many families and the separation from parents is heart breaking. I think Otis' cousins also benefit from having exposure to and witnessing a healthy and loving relationship like you and Damo. it makes me meditate on their development and personal growth in the absence of parents and adult role-models. In my 15 year experience of Thailand I still battle with the fact the country can at times be as beautiful as it can be cruel. Wonderfully captured moments - no pretence, no posturing. it so refreshing!!!! (Damo is spot on about Khao Yai - there is an almost identical cafe on the outer area of Khao Yai by the river. It is remarkably similar - just a little older and more established garden - brought back very fond memories of a very special day for me also - thank you again for capturing and sharing.

a lot of cafes started doing the entry fee if they had a garden or instagrammable spot. many would come to take photos but not buy anything. super interesting to see what a detailed experience can be made in the middle of rural thailand

They were learning a lot about they are starting a café business in Bangkok including baking. Knowing having a coffee shop in Bangkok has the potential to do very well. Know where to buy coffee machines and necessary items like cups, coffee beans, and straws at good prices. Also through a long and arduous search, they finally found a reliable contractor to build a business from the ground up.

Hey Ryan and Damo and Otis are baby Hugo, what a great place you found. I want to go there too. Iam planning to build an Avery up in the northeast of Thailand. It's only an acer but big enough. From the sky view, it looks surprisingly small. I will have to go there sometime in the future. Maybe after I get back from the US in August.

It looks like the type of place I would enjoy visiting. Maybe I will call there when I am back in Thailand next time. I like the fish pond full of koi, but if it where me, I would be growing more edible fish like tilapia.

I worked in the food & beverage business for 30 years primarily in the development of operating procedures and creating training resources for use in training employees. You would do this new business a great service by spending time with the owner to discuss why you gave the coffee a 4 out of 10 score and encourage them to survey their customers on how they would rate the coffee. Additionally, working with them to create the 10 out of 10 coffee would then lead to the development of standard operating procedures with which they would use to train existing and future employees. This combination could mean the success or failure of this business.

@lifeinruralthailand Hey guys, what's going on? Ryan ordering coffee with 25% sweetness and Damo ordering coffee with normal sweetness? Surely that's the wrong way around... Damo is the real sweet one, so shouldn't need sweetening up 😏😂 Great looking Café, so good that I'm going to look it up on Google Maps, save it as a place to visit if I get to Buriram one day (hopefully it'll thrive). Great to see the kids that don't have much, getting out and enjoying themselves and being treated by a beautiful couple. Thanks for a very enjoyable vlog. P.S. Ryan, was that Damo getting a bit frisky, leaning into you with a big smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes? 🤣 🤣 🤣 P.P.S. Having been catching up, watching about a months worth of vlogs each day, I've noticed as I heard you say, that Damo is definitely a lot happier recently 😀❤
