@@SenEmChannel No! According to hardcore atheists, everything is explainable by science. However, science is neutral! From a scientific point of view death - no matter if it happened through murder or a natural cause - is just a chemical change. For measuring good or evil you need values. And if the atheists were honest, they wouldn't label anything as good or evil, because according to them everything developed out of nothing, so nothing really makes sense. They have no real standards what so ever!

@@AlexDumarti Asalamu alayk (Peace be upon you) You said: Evil is that brings sorrow ,trouble and grief? Well, what makes people grief, fell sad and trouble. Each man for himself, and if you say: What the majority says is the right definition. Then you be oppressing the minority, and in fact: Why is the majority right? I mean majority of people belive in God with over 80% in present time, how come you dont? See, atheists only see the surface of things. Atheists be saying "Humans arw modern apes which started as a fish in the sea". But with this claim, all morality is gone. For we live by "the survival of the fittest". So in practice: I should let people, women and children die, for then my chance for survival is higher. The Quran 28:50 says If they do not respond to you, you will know that they follow only their own desires. Who is further astray than the one who follows his own desires with no guidance from God? Truly God does not guide those who do wrong. And at last: let us talk with respect. Normal "debate". Not a battleground. So lets talk with respect, no mocking
@AlexDumarti
@AlexDumarti 3 жыл бұрын
@@majjsmamaysi6277 _"What the majority says is the right definition"_ No, that's not how this works. If many people want to kill a group of others that does not make it less evil. I explained the concept of reciprocity and evolutionary patterns of communal well-being. _"majority of people belive in God with over 80% in present time"_ THat is also false. 90% of humanity does not think Allah is the best choice either, so that should give you an idea how flawed your thinking is. Less and less people actually believe gods or goddesses exist. Even in Muslim countries I've had colleagues come to me and confess they don't pray or fast and have no wish to go to Mecca. _"atheists only see the surface of things"_ Oh dear no, it's the opposite. If someone shows me where I am wrong I will change my mind. You will not. So you are stuck and you will not move, I will. If I ask you about the preservation of the Koran and all the variants, I will investigate all of them, you have what Yasir Qadhi calls the "red line" you can't cross. _"Humans arw modern apes which started as a fish in the sea"_ No, wrong. An a-theist only has one, single attribute: not believing that gods or goddesses exist. A biologist, a-theist or not, will accept that all human beings are a type of ape, yes. I don't care about evolution and if it is the wrong explanation it has no impact on whether gods exist. You need to think deeper and not so superficial. _"all morality is gone"_ Again, the opposite is true. My morality is on a much higher level that that of a theist. _"we live by "the survival of the fittest"_ Ouch, it seems you are horribly uneducated and don't understand the Theory of Evolution at all. You need to stop this. 3:66 Why then argue ye concerning that whereof ye have no knowledge? _"lets talk with respect, no mocking"_ Mocking is a very human thing to do and condoned in the Koran. It even says "Allah mocks them" and "Say: "(Go ahead and) mock! But certainly Allah will bring to light all that you fear." If someone tells me you can revive a corpse by slapping it with a piece of steak, what should I do other than mock them, even it is written in the Koran?

Btw, brother Hijab thank you so much for refuting Neil DeGrasse. This guy thinks he is too smart and is probably the most popular god worshipped by the new atheists these days. @@hashimbaig8256 of course we have a predisposition to believe in myths, that’s why myths are there! And given humanity has been originally polytheistic, the natural inclination is for gods, not the specific Quran god. So does that mean you should believe in fairies? Anyhow, we understand very well why we have this natural inclination: it’s because we tend to give agency to things, probably because our ancestors who tended to gave agency to things were better at surviving and so we inherited these tendencies. Example: you are in the jungle, you hear a noise in the grass, if you think it’s some monster moving the grass, even though it was just the wind, and you run away, well you just run away for nothing, but if instead you thought it was just the wind so you ignore it, but it was actually a lion, well, you are dead! This is how the tendency to give agency to things delveloped.

This style of "debating" - i.e. sending a message to someone - is flatly against the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (S). Tyson has done nothing to Hijab or offended him personally - this was an opportunity to state the same message but in a manner that is respectful, gentle, and in a character that is befitting someone who follows Mohammed (peace be upon him)). I await the day when Mr. Hijab becomes 40 and demonstrates restraint, and wisdom. At the peak of the Islamic civilization, a student, or scholar, would not even be permitted to give public remarks before age 40 because it was understood their education, wisdom, and maturity was incomplete.

@@mohammed1671995Apologies. I meant no disrespect or aspirations to Bedouins, that was just rhetorical flourish. I suspect when we make contact with extraterrestrial intelligence(s), rocket scientists/physicists will be of more use to humanity than the summation of all the holy men of all the faiths putting forth sophistic arguments about their 1400 yr. pr 2000 year old beliefs. Whether the off world intelligence is plantlike, bacterial, or any other exotic form, I suspect the scientists of the this plant, will speak their language than the summation of all to Christian missionaries and Islamic Dawah preachers who have dedicated their lives to telling humanity about life and beliefs, before the advent of the light bulb. @@VanTConsult believe it or not, I actually loved your reply. Not because I agree with everything, instead , since I hold the same view. If there is a God out there he must know about the complexities of this universe and its secrets. I refuse to follow any religion that treats my intelligence as a five year old child. And that's exactly why I believe in whoever "published" the Quran. There are things in the Quran that maybe a handful of people know about. Things that if I explain, people will call me crazy. Anyways, I am not trying to look that I know something that no body knows. But, what I have come across in terms of information and secrets about the Quran make me believe that there has to be some super intelligent being who published this book. By the way, since you have talked about extraterrestrials, did you know that the Quran mentions that Allah created seven plants like Earth?! No muslim to my awareness knows how to explain this verse. And that's why I loved your reply. But I still disagree with saying that muslim preachers or Christian missionaries are useless. They are doing what their job is and scientists are doing their job. @@sandal_thong8631 I know how you feel so let me try and help. You must deconstruct what we are actually saying before you criticise. Neil made silly mistakes when he was talking about Islam and God, things that are obvious to a Muslim with a bit of academic knowledge. It seems as if he is hanging out with like minded people as him, and they have heard some 'stuff' about Islam, then they have discussed amongst themselves and came up with their own theories. It would have been helpful for him to actually speak with some scholars of Islam, you know the people who have spent their whole lives studying Islam. He would have then understood Islam correctly and only then he could bring forth valid arguments for or against Islam. We would have then respectfully agreed or disagreed. That is why I said neil maybe living in an echo chamber, not because I disagreed with him.

@@ailmlvr5905 Sorry. I watched the 3 minute video on CBS Sunday morning where this clip comes from as well as Neil's end of the Golden Age of Islam video and a counter to it, (probably by this guy). The latter rejects the influence of Al-Ghazali on anti-science in the Islamic world. But it comes to the same thing: a thousand year Dark Age of science in the Islamic world continuing presently. Fanaticism: believing one thing with no tolerance for any other viewpoint. Fundamentalism: an old text is perfect, and not to be questioned. Both overlap, and can describe sects of multiple religions. Today I learned in many places an imam is considered chosen by God (not graduating seminary or theological school) and is therefore guided from sin and infallible. The last two are demonstrably false. Islam needs a Reformation like Protestantism.

@@sandal_thong8631 Firstly Neil made it seem like we get our religion from Al-Ghazali, whereas in reality we go back to the original source, the Quran (word of God) and hadith (from the prophet). Secondly you have to be more specific as to what you think is 'fundamentalist' or 'fanatic' in the Islamic tradition. You have to understand that we (Muslims) believe the Quran is the word of God, who created the universe can complex creatures like us. If you do believe that (as a Muslim), how can there be 'mistakes' in the Quran (ie parts in need of reform). Our whole belief system is dependent on the Quran being divine. We criticize Christians & Jews for changing (reforming) the Bible/Torah to the peoples whims and now they don't follow the word of God but their priests. What I am saying is that when you say reform your religion, you are basically asking me to quite my religion. I am not shutting you down with a straight NO you are wrong, even when I am given ample evidence to the contrary. I am saying lets discuss, let us understand each other comprehensively and not make false claims about each others beliefs as Neil does. Whether you like it or not Atheism is a belief system, just as any other religion. Regarding the Imams, I believe you are referring to the Shia sect, I don't believe in that, but this does demonstrate you are not fully acquainted with Islam. God does however truly choose certain people to be at certain a place at a certain time. God choose where I was born, who I was born to and when I was born, and indeed choose me to be having this conversation with you, and vice versa.

The beginning of Surah Mulk tells us God is He who “Who created DEATH and life”. Then it takes us to see that we “will not see any flaw” in the Universe. Then it says in verses 16-17 that He is the one who can send natural disasters. Allah has made death and people have to die - this is the part of the flawless plan. For that death has to have so many causes that we can’t treat as human beings otherwise suppose if there was only one cause of death, if we found a cure we wouldn’t be dying anymore. Natural disasters can be one of the way. Having disasters doesn’t mean there is a flaw in the creation or that there is no God. May Allah protect us from any trial, we are not strong enough for any.

The problem with this refutation is that it tries to present Tyson as being hypocritical for assuming evil exists when he never actually did that. He only pointed out that within the context of the theological claim, which includes both the existence of evil and the existence an all good, all powerful god, there is an inconsistency. Those making the claim that God is all good and all powerful do believe in evil, and so the point of the inconsistency is about their perspective, not his own. There is no "problem of evil" without God, because reality is neutral, and "evil" is relative to the values we have as conscious beings. It exists specifically because you make the claim that God is real, all good, and all powerful. Then when pressed on why he allows suffering, there is no real answer. You have "It's a test." A test for what? God made you and knows everything about you. He'd only be testing his own quality as a creator. There's the lazy choice to try to hang it on man's free will, but anyone who understands basic causation will understand that in a reality made by an all powerful God, all things, including the will that you freely express, are determined by God.

thats simply factually incorrect. So you are saying if all lines are straight then no lines are straight?...failed analogy number 1, and failed argument number 2. Hijab got 1 thing right "there could exist a god, and evil"...do to others as you would yourself, that's a good fcking place to start when it comes to "who gets to say what is evil" I would say. So if only good existed then the phrase "who is to say what is evil" actually has merit, right now it doesn't.
@meusana3681
@meusana3681 3 жыл бұрын
@Huthaifa B AlWattar (2024) I can't believe how stupid this analogy is. YES a line is JUST called a line, and a curve is just called a curve... pay attention to the language you are trying to butcher. Saying a curved line is like saying a straight gay person. We literally define a line as being straight and a curve as not. It's a bad analogy, give it up. And again, to come back to Hijab's point about this, evil exists period. Either a god exists with the evil in the world or no god exists and there is still evil in the world. To accept A you must concede that god has in fact part of said evil, if you accept B then there is no distinction between life with or without a god. Then again, what you are advocating for is the neccessity of evil. You are literally saying 'god had to make the rest suffer so I can enjoy not suffering." Fucked up morals from your part, and a pathetic god if you ask me.
@meusana3681
@meusana3681 3 жыл бұрын
@Huthaifa B AlWattar (2024) Yes it is. Every action no matter how small carries an echo. Neither you nor the person committing the evil act could possibly know if the good is outweighing the evil. What if by bringing a minor suffering to one's life you have kindled a greater evil to be born. The same goes for altruism and acts of kindness, by giving someone something they have not earned perhaps all you have made of them is a target for others less fortunate. And don't pitch this back at me, I know you believe that your god in fact knows everything. I do not however. You are advocating that god is justified to do all the evil he did. A I don't believe he even existed to do the evil. And B all the evil attributed to god was either the result of man or the intentions of man justified by their version of god. If god really is the one calling the shots and doing everything then let that be. Please don't go do evil when you think it's for the greater good. P.S. And if god truly does exist, and he is as he is portrayed in the bible/quran, then I have no intentions of worshiping that god. I'll admit he exists when revealed, but will deny his authority. The god of the bible/quran IS an evil deity, not just doing evil for good, he did/does evil for supremacy and servitude. If you want to defend being a slave then be my guest.

@meusana3681 3 жыл бұрын
@Huthaifa B AlWattar (2024) how about you give the world its first try. Your religion had its 2000 years worth of tries. Honestly I'd prefer you not do you given your calm demeanor towards something which could be considered to be evil. Call me a bigot then, I'd wear that title much rather than hypocrite. Flip the case where the evil act were directed towards you for a greater good, would you still be OK with that? It's funny that the infallible word of an almighty is subject to interpretation, people speaking for it and ultimately needs apologetics to justify the things the rest of us are calling you out on. I'm not giving Isalm another shot, it's just not honestly possible for me. The only reason I'm still here I guess is because I'm not yet willing to completely throw god out of the window as well. I guess I'm saying I hear a heck of a lot of speaking for god, and not a whole lot of god speaking.

@@Rifforecordz You dont pick and choose buddy, North Korea is embodying alot of atheist beliefs such as survival of the fittest, though I doubt the fitness of kim jung un but he has the power and he is doing what the purpose of his existence from a darwinian atheist point of view is which is, to reproduce and dominate the other males and he's pretty much doing that while spreading his ideology and thus making more people similar to him and increasing his dominance, That is animalistic but darwinism is a crazy enough ideology that views humans as just another animal so....

Very typical self-crowning atheist excuse, how could all this happen and a God Allow it? As if to seat themselves in a seat higher than God with that excuse, deluded into thinking they've excused themselves from His Judgement now when (or if, as they think) indeed it does come.

Bruv you're muslim because you found your parents muslim. If you were born to a christian family you'd be saying give yourself to Jesus. 99% of the population doesn't change their religion, religion is mostly chosen for you.

@@Rifforecordz does that logic apply to atheists? Most atheists are atheists because their parents happen to be.

@@Rifforecordz The truth value of a religion and ideology should not be based upon the origin and geography. This is kinda fallacious. If you wanna learn and argue about our dogmas then we do so by comparing the beliefs by WHAT IT IS We are all born and influenced and institutionalized under various systems and values, but as we grow older we come to learn and be skeptical

@@Rifforecordz Hah what a stupid thing to say. You know who I am 'bruv'? Racist claim there saying I'm a Muslim cos you see brown man in the picture. How do you know I wasn't once a Christian? How do you know I wasn't an atheist for a period of my life? You know the journey I went through to conclude and accept the existence of God? Don't be an idiot and tell ME I would've been something else when I know myself and my joruney and how I rejected religion before submitting to the real one, how I researched Christianity before Islam (amongst a few others) and also how I rejected the religion of my parents and in the end made my own decision leading to where and who I am now. So I am literally proof against your racist claim. In reality though 'bruv', you just got irritated by the fact that most atheists do use that excuse to try justify themselves so you made a hasty generalisation in response🤣 Atheists use this pathetic reasoning to try box believers as blind followers, as if you lot are the only ones thinking. Quite the opposite, like I said, you just crown yourselves hastily.

So please make dua for our brother Hijab, Alhamdulillah he argues with purpose and Deen is his motivation..so the next time you see a video refute something he has said or done, remember these times.I actually believe the videos that refute are also purposeful, it keeps Scholars, Mufti and Sheiks humble for one and sometimes there are mistakes that need to be corrected...we need to know our Deen enough to see the mistakes ourselves but still can benefit from the Dawah...Brother Hijab, Mash Allah and other Muslims out there giving us Dawah and motivation need our Dua's to be able to see and stay with the truth for themselves and then for those they try to help, they are a great help to the Ummah may Allah guide and protect the whole Ummah, Ameen
