Mr Diamond, you'll never read this but I want to send a thought into the ether. My mum lost her husband (my dad) of 54 years 2 weeks ago. She's very, very poorly and so was unable to attend his funeral last Monday as she was in hospital. Last night she was vomiting and couldn't breathe. 999 (the U.K.s equivalent of 911) were called and she recieved oxygen for 40 minutes. Today she has been unable to get out of bed and has only eaten a yogurt and a glass of water. As she is a life long fan of yours I emailed her this clip. She replied that it was "...brilliant!!!!!!!!!". That is high praise indeed coming from my mum. 😃 Thank you for making my mum smile in this very hard time in her life. I have always respected you for your talent but now I'll love you till the day I die for giving hope, and joy, to a woman that felt none. If I could make one person feel half the joy you have brought to my mum then I could die a successful man. Thank you and God bless

So, thank you, for a very very brief moment when I read your comment all felt right with the world. Also, the further into the song he got the more I started really missing Red Sox games.
