I'm 65 Yrs old and probably will still be listening to this song till the end of my days. Good music such as this is hard to come by. Neil Diamond if you're still performing out there Sir... KEEP ROCKIN !!! Your music will always live on !!!

It will never be a question of age to appreciate a great artist like Neil Diamond. I'm more than thirty years younger than him and he's my favorite singer, poet and composer ... And forever! You just need to have the sense of feelings, emotion, sincerity and to love a deep and wonderful soul, an exceptional intelligence and a free mind. If you've got the notion and the feeling of all that, you will love that artist like no other ... And I do love him like no other! En français, vous êtes le plus grand des talents, dear Neil Diamond. ❤️

Amazing how legendary artists like Neil Diamond simply perform their songs because they are great. He comes out on stage and sings without having what seems like hundreds of dancers and laser lights. "Solitary Man" was the first record Diamond recorded under his own name that made the charts. It remains one of his personal all-time favorites, as it was about his early years as a songwriter, even though he failed to realize it at the time: It wasn't until years later, when I went into Freudian analysis, that I understood that it was me. It was an outgrowth of my despair.

Neil Diamond (born in 1941) is celebrating his 77th birthday today January 24, 2018. He is one of America’s most enduring songwriters best known for his singalong hits “Sweet Caroline” and “Cracklin’ Rosie,” it was announced Monday that he has Parkinson’s disease, and is retiring from concert touring as a result of the diagnosis.
