I hate this argument. 5 at the back isn’t always defensive tho. If we played saka and Trent as a rwb. Saka could come back at a lb when we are attacking. Trent goes forward. And Kyle Walker who would play in the right sided centre back position could cover Trent when he gets forward . On paper it’s a back five but not really. Or saka and Trent goes forward and rice drops back in the lb position when saka goes forward. It’s better then what we are playing

I've watched and rewatched each game we've played so far. We are afraid to make a quick obvious pass, instead it's a short pass to the next player, who plays another short pass to the SAME BLOOMING PLAYER WECOULD HAVE PASSED TO. southgate has stifled natural talent. I would have sacked him when he said he was experimenting and we havent found a replacement for a decent pro who has'nt found his feet in London after being wasted at city. BTW playing foden on the left - ???? if my wife was about to drop and theb gaffer said run aorund and look stupid, when you have been phenomenal in a central position behind the striker and actually scored goals!!!!
