Loved watching Colin on the closedowns also Charles Foster. Colin always had a cheeky grin , like he knew something you didnt , my kids cant comprehend that the telly used to only have 3 or 4 channels and finished at midnight :-O

The LM magazine advert may be of interest to ZX Spectrum and C64 owners at the time. Before LM, Newsfield was well known for the Crash and Zzap! 64 computer magazines which were massively successful upon launch. Amtix (for Amstrad CPC users) was short lived - coming at a time when Amstrad Action was the users' magazine of choice. LM was one of Newsfield's failed attempts at diversifying away from their core magazine. Alongside the launch of other non-computer magazines like Movie, LM was partly to blame for Newsfield's demise in late 1991. It is said that the 'LM' stood for Lloyd Mangram of Zzap! 64's Rrap letters page fame.
