Yes, exactly, and the owners in these compilation videos all seem utterly delighted by their cats' destructive behaviors. To each their own. Wouldn't let one near a baby or small child, or my maltese.

@@menace7655 - That's so funny, good profiling! (Do you associate Maltese with Leona Helmsley, NYC Hotel Queen of the 1980s who eft her fortune to her Maltese? ). They do make the prefect totable city dog in America, where, unlike many European countries, dogs can be taken to restaurants and other places in town on a leash. And they're naturally impeccably behaved in public - I truly get no credit! And they're prefect companion dogs - Powder Puffs, ..Live Stuffed Animals, ..Little. Angel Babies!.. My 5 pounder used to love chasing herds of deer up to 20 or so (including bucks with huge racks) - and on the farm the chicken hawks and foxes left her alone (as the yankee was nearby, ready with loaded gun!). But not til this "60 to 70 yr old" became a widow and scaled down to the burbs, did we encounter the neighbors' dreaded outdoor cat, who took up residence on my front and back porches and would not hesitate to get nasty with my baby for exploring and finding it in our fenced yard. ... But interesting profiling - as the Maltese and other such tiny dogs seem much more prevalent in Asian countries (where they generally look much better bred) and where I discovered the joys of a tiny, beautiful white powder puff! (My husband would not be seen walking her!) I did, tho, once have a nice neighbor cat in NYC who use to sneack in my house and I'd discover him basking in the sun by a window, circled around a house plant atop a large pot. ... But if only ALL cats were like Dingy!

@@wrg_101 - LOL! I will say this. My powder puff angel is SO docile, so non-vocal, that she doesn't even bark or cry iff she has to go out, or for anything. She stands quietly, patiently and just looks at me. Very rarely will she even paw at my feet. Sh's so quirt that I lose her. She can ascend the stairs but cannot come back down, so if sh's upstairs and I'm calling for her, I have to check upstairs bc if there, she'll be, waiting at the top, wagging her tail, waiting for me. It's just her naturally quiet nature. ..., That said, my husband always said that those times when I would l leave w/o her, she'd wait at the window, howling until I returned. I didn't believe him til he recorded it. But then, after I moved to burbs, , I noticed what a good watch dog she is, picks up on everything, and barks like a sharp, little yapper! .. And later I learned that I could get hr to bark if I playfully task her that I was going to go but maybe she have to stay. ... I now got a fence with slats so that she can see out, and she now barks at passers by, but nothing crazy. ... I DO believe you, as my baby was thm runt and naturally more

@@wrg_101 - LOL! Mine is sooo mild and quiet. She only looks at me to go outside. And she can ascend, but not descend stairs, so if she's upstairs, I lose her, as she won't bark or cry if I call her. She just patiently waits for me. 2 things, tho: (1) Mine was the runt of the litter and mildest nature. Now that I'm in the burbs, I got a fence w slats so she can see out, and I do hear her bark at passers by, but nothing insane like some little yappers. (2) Many dogs sold as maltese have other small yapper mixed in, , such was Bichon. But I do think that some ,malts CAN indeed, be yappers, When they bark, even if otherwise mild. Mine has also become more vocal now that we have ppl coming to the door, such as mailman, UPS, as they drop off at front door. .. Maltese, tho, are known for being gentle and affectionate, although certainly some can bite. Mine is fascinated by cats and is vulnerable to being injured by a nasty cat whom she would approach. .. I'v had experience with nasty cats, and they can be dangerous, like a rooster.

Almost all the vids are result of not catproofing; or not having proper toys for cats to bite, and pull, and scratch. I have a 2000$ Oled TV/PC that I fitted inside a closed wardrobe just so my cats can't scratch or bite or slam.
