I cover the town building simulator spin-off of the Atelier franchise! I actually enjoyed it much more than I was expecting, even if it was far from perfect. This is more of an experimental style than I usually make, so I hope you enjoy!

I think the charm of Atelier games is just how casual they can feel. They aren't the best games around but always provide you with that comfy Atelier admosphere we have all come to love. All of this is elevated by a wonderous soundtrack (which was the very reason I'm still playing these games) and whimsical characters with lovely design and personalities

I love the Atelier series but Nelke was the first one i couldn't finish. I can't remember what task it was but the required amount of money was two high for me to obtain even after 2 playthroughs. Maybe im just not good at resource building games. I did enjoy the character fanservice though. But i'll stick with the more traditional Atelier titles. So happy that we not only got Lulua this year but we are also recieving Atelier Ryza in October. :)

This was a great review. I really love the atelier series and i'm thinking about getting nelke and the legendary alchemists later on for the nintendo switch. Even though it's really not my type of game, i'll still give it a try. I'm also going to buy the other atelier games for the nintendo switch too.

Its not GROUNDBREAKING but its very fun if you're looking to crunch some numbers and deal with a bit of stress haha

@@culIen Honestly, I'm in the mood and market for a solid B-grade game. Plus, you're pretty convincing when it comes to trying a new title. Plus, who doesn't like a bit of stress with their Atelier game? It's the perfect side dish, haha

@@pixelatedlenses "a bit of stress" is the classic atelier model but Nelke really has the stress as a main dish hahaha. But if its cheap, I absolutely recommend it. $60 for this was steeeep.

​@@nemieslime I kinda wanna add Iris, Eternal Mana to that. But the start of any "Saga" (group of 3 games) is good, so Sophie, Rorona, Iris 1, Ayesha. Escha & Logy and Lulua are also good games to start with, tho.
