*She didn’t fail, it’s not necessary to have 100 million followers and that doesn’t signify success. Nelly is, was and will be a legend. She decided to give undivided attention to her family and that does not change the fact that all her songs slap real hard. People never stop coming back to classics.*

As long as you are having fun making music, that's all that matters. I make music and post it to KZbin for the ones that like what I do and for myself. Sometimes I get about five views and sometimes I get more. I'm just happy to make music. If I get even one view, I'm happy about it.

To be fair, while she was on top and everywhere I did not follow her music at all. I converted myself afterwards. I don't get along with mainstream actually, I tend to salvage what's worthy way after their time.

+MothProofPlane -san Did you even read my comment right? I don't HATE this video. I didn't even BASH the video. I merely pointed out that Nelly Furtado didn't exploit/misrepresent/appropriate the Hoop dancers. She incorporated them in a very positive/creative way. Something that you RARELY see in mainstream media, especially with Native Americans. It's one of the reasons I love her. And those aren't false terms, especially since the reality of it is that it does happen far too commonly.

The only reason why i could possibly see low record sales and not many plays (9mill for the hottest song on the album for an artist of her size is dirt, nothing) is because she doesn't have producers like Timbaland etc promoting, she has her new label etc and hopefully is just learning. TSI is still so good, its a shame only thing people will listen to is when songs are played on the radio. This could easily be a gigantic hit and isn't. But what's the best about her is when asked about low record sales, she doesn't really care, she had that part in her life already with Billboard top 200 #1's and just wants to explore different sounds and genres. She's the best because every single album, from her first in 2000, till her latest in 2012 , all are completely different from the last. She ALWAYS has a different sound to her and if you don't listen to her much, you'd never even know who was the artist on songs like this. It's pure talent. I wish people followed Nelly for her work, not for whats played on the radio. How could you ask "really she came out with an album after 2012?" people dont know she had 3 fucking albums after Loose lol. She is much more talented than anyone right now. Now we have katy perry, justin bieber, miley cyrus, 2 chainz and other complete bullshit, i miss people like justin timberlake/Nelly furtado/timbaland etc on the mainstream a little bit, just so i can turn on the radio once in a while. I have not touched the dial on the radio since 2009 thats really disturbing.

Jessie J is saving the generation this year hopefully, she's pure talent but not well recognized in the US unfortunately. When she drops the US version of her new album Alive, which kinda flopped because it wasn't out in the US, please give it a listen, I'm sure there'll be GOOD music for the sake of our, and vocally she's beast.

This song is back: Rain Radio & DJ Craig Gorman - Talk About. She should be credited on the vocals, not just the lyrics. Hoping that she is making a full comeback.

awesome to have Nelly song remixed. And I am loving it. Like everyone says, they should of credited her. None the less, I can't get enough of the remixed song.

Listened to it while sober and it hits different when not. lol She's always been a beast though! She also doesn't care about recognition and gives us Spanish, English, Portuguese pop or whatever she wants and we are here for it.

I have no idea why this album flopped so bad (Sold 6,000 fw, compared to Loose's 219k) this is a fantastic song and should've done great. Even if the label didn't promote it as much, it's still baffling.

+CrazyMan03 I totally agree. I'm very curious as to why her label didn't promote this album at all especially since Loose was such a big album.

+Aaron Page the reason is after loose she chose to release a spanish album against her labels wishes instead of riding the loose album high. After that the record label will not promote her as much , she is also slow releasing albums and I feel does not take full control of her career.

The album was produced by Darkchild, producer of best brandy r&b and destiny's child songs. Unfortunately in 2012 disco songs was the trend (lady gaga, david guetta & co) so the album feel strange and different so it didn't sell well...

This album was really good. It sucks that Interscope failed to promote the album appropriately. That's why the sales were horrible. Hopefully after her next album she signs to a new label that will treat her right.
