If only it were so. Paul can't and won't tell anything that resembles the true story of The Beatles and many people in the know have said it. He also hasn't been able to sing for at least the past 10 or 15 years. But undoubtedly, he and John were the very best thing to happen to pop music ever. And Paul did have the best voice with the most unique character in all of pop music. They changed my life and saved my life. This was his band when I saw him here in Toronto in the early 90's at Exhibition Stadium on the CNE grounds. Best moment was when the psychedelic piano rose from beneath the stage and he played a bunch of songs from the Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour era, including John songs, which iirc was the first tour he played songs that were considered "John Songs".

I’m so glad he is still with us. While his song writing isn’t what it used to be (although he’s earned the right to do whatever the f~>* he wants), the fact that at his age he can still perform as long and as strongly as he does is just incredible, and the world has been blessed with (but not really deserving of) his presence for all these decades and is a fa better place because of it.
