Hi nemesis, I hope you're doing ok! Just wanted to ask what would be the deciding factor between rushing essence reaver or Kraken Slayer. Is it dependent on the match up on mid, or are you more or less thinking about the entire comp?

he said in another recent video that the main deciding factor is the buildpath: noonquiver is a much better component than warhammer. it also is straight up more damage if you do the math, especially single target (cause of repeated procs and extra attack speed)

Essence reaver is better when tied in with more cdr, as it’s an AD caster item and cooldowns are still reasonably long when you get first item, so the mana gains aren’t as significant, and won’t even proc that often with 20% crit. ER probably better 3rd item after navori- if you don’t need the armor pen first
