anyone knows whether there is a fuse and relay dedicated to the blower

if you undo the 2 little bolts on the back of the blower unit, the plastic trim pulls off and you get better access to the commutator and brushes. Mine had some grass stalks stuck in it and once I'd got those out I could use the finest emery paper to clean up the commutator. With the plastic off you can clean up round the bushes as well.

Thanks for the video. 320000 miles on my Bipper and blower packed in. Took it off. Cleaned itas you described..Boom...working perfectly again. Agarage would have swapped it out. Thanks again

Thanks for the video. In my case fan just run on 4 then it didn't run on any speed. I unscrewed 2 bolts from blower unit and the problem was that brushes ended. I had to buy copper carbon brushes 8x9x18mm and replace it. Now it works perfectly.

This afternoon had the usual grief of this....changed 3 x resistor fuses, took motor out, cleaned contacts, put together.... and smoke from fan. Bloody cars, always in the winter does the heater arse about !!!!!!!!!!!! Great informative video, thanks

Ah bugger, it let the smoke out... They're fairly robust, but not invincible. On the positive side, they're reasonably cheap and easy to replace. All the best for sorting before too long. 😉

Thanks peat you just saved next door £130 witch the garage was going to charge to her she asked me to have a look checked the voltage with a old head light bulb to make sure the corrector was good then checked KZbin n after 2 mins went n fix it with a bit of sandpaper n a screw driver 👍🛠😂 have advised her to shop round for a new one because hers is well worn 👍✌️

Hi Pete having the same problem no heater at all,checked all fuses all seem OK,which fuse controls the heating as doesn't say in the manual. Cheers Richard

If all the fuses are ok, then follow this procedure as it'll allow to diagnose the problem. This video was posted over a year ago, and unfortunately I can't remember off the top of my head. If you have power at the resistor plug or motor, then it isn't the fuse anyhow. 👍

Great video! Blower only works on speed 4, and I can't seem to move the divert selector control on the far right. It's stuck on the last mode? Any ideas?

That fault will either be the heater control pack itself (the switches) or the cable that actuates that control. Only taking the pack out of the dash will determine which one. If the control works without the cable attached, it's the cable. 😉

I removed the blower, cleaned it, hot wired to test and it worked. Replaced the resistor, tested the fuse and still dead. The initial problem was 1-3 speed dead but only 4 working, then 4 failed. I am thinking the controls are pooped, is this the likely cause? Other people have said the relay but I can't find it as I don't think there is one. Any advice would be appreciated folks... Thanks

Fuses on right hand drive vehicles are behind removable panel at drivers knee level.

@@peteledwidge3631 the Problem is it turns off after a while... like after 20-30 minutes. It turns on for a few seconds with low power when i kick in the area of the blower. I dont get it. I guess the nemo likes to get punched and kicked... i‘ll try to remove the blower like in your video to fix it or my butt will be a frozen piece of ice...
