Nemophila is the new metal god ⚡🤟🏼⚡
@xaharxeruji34412 жыл бұрын
All these girls are very humble, very shy and very girlish... nobody can expect all of them can play such an excellent metal music that impressed heavy metal fans all over the world. I listen to many other Japan all female bands... all of these bands are good but in my humble opinion, they are lacking of 'WOW' factor. Nemophila is the only band (in my humble opinion) that has 'WOW' factor. Not to disrespect other all female bands, but for the new band category, Nemophila already set a new benchmark for all female bands not just in Japan but also for the rest of the world. I am eager to see at what level Nemophila places itself in the next 5 years. I just hope Nemophila band members (Mayu, Saki, Hazuki, Haraguchi-San and Tamu) could maintain the existing sisterhood chemistry among themselves and keep being humble even though they achieve global success in the near future. I love this band and I love the personalities of all the members of this band. From Malaysia With Love!

Saludos cordiales. Hasta luego.

If Haraguchi-san isnt cracking up she is cracking up others. The key too a successful band is 2 things: Quality Musicianship/ Writing and the all important Band members get along well with each other.

Lately, I've been completely blown away by japanese rock and punk scene. Who knew there were so many good bands? Nemophila is one of the best I've heard so far. Band-Maid is another. It's gotten to the point where I really want to try to learn Japanese. Even if I'm dyslexic, I'm going to try it honestly. My goal is to move there and get to know you Japanese, your culture, etc. You really have a fascinating country. ❤️ Meanwhile, a humble request: Please add English subtitles. These girls are a precious gem of the highest quality I wanna know more about! 🤘❤️

Was there for a year and a half in the mid-80's and I totally loved it. Would love to go back. I loved the culture, the food and everything except the train system. It was hard to figure out. Being drunk might have had a little to do with it also.

Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. This is a starter list of all-female or (in four cases, mixed, female-led) metal, punk, hard-rock and post-rock bands, with founding dates. It's mostly alphabetical, except for the first three, which are at the top of the list for historical reasons. They set the table for the explosion of Japanese female hard-rock, punk and metal bands. Note: I have deliberately picked clips that are reactor-friendly because they are high quality and are representative of the band's main style. Show-Ya (1981 The original female J-metal band, founded before Metallica-this is from their 24th (!) anniversary concert-and they are still touring): kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXvCZnqsaNt5oLM Shonen Knife (1981 The world’s first bubblegum punk band. They have done several world tours. They also perform as a Ramones tribute band called Osaka Ramones): kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWqvhp-Pr7ScjdU Destrose (2005; This band was never stable, but has become almost mythic in Japanese metal history, because so many great bands spun out of Destrose, including Lovebites--you will recognize the drummer and bassist): kzbin.info/www/bejne/baCal56qqKeqh8k kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWK5qHh9fbV8ntU Aldious (2008 Glamorous and kick-ass rockers-one of the first generation all-girl metal bands, along with Destrose) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZfOe4dmp9eUY5o Asterism (2013 Not all female, but will melt your face off- the guitarist Haruka Noma is off the charts talented and still a teen-ager) kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5fbfpxmd91nrpI Band-Maid (2013 OK, there are 100+ great songs by them. Here is a live clip): kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHnTpningqaWesk Bridear (2011 Heavy, technical-and a tiny bassist also growls): kzbin.info/www/bejne/goKsdaSrmaySerM Cyntia (2011 Second wave, hard, heavy, but with prog and symphonic touches) kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ_LgJWeas6Sabc Disqualia (2015 Destrose spin-out, featuring Narumi, one of the best guitarists of this generation) kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y36Yq3WBp7l9iMk Doll$Boxx (2012 Insane mix of metal, electropop, and god-knows what else; a collaboration between Fuki and Gacharic Spin ) kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6aVq2eLm56HncU existTtrace (2003: Visual Kei, progressive, technical, some death-metal and goth touches) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hauUfalujax1fJI Fate Gear (2015 Super-group, one of the Destrose spinouts-continually changing lineup built around Mina (g) and Erica (b); this single video is one of the best in this list): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn20k6algLaBY5I Gacharic Spin (founded in 2009 by a group of high-school friends; technical, cover a range from punk-pop to heavy metal and progressive) Here is their first video, with original singer Armmy (d. 2015): kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJfdeqdoZcSrjsk Gallhammer (Death punk; this is from their 2007 UK/Europe tour): kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJe3mqyFhJahkKc Galmet (2006 Straight-up death metal, but in prom dresses) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp_Zo4KCmrenY6s Ganglion (2010 Metal with a hint of electronica) kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2rNZadpgthgick Hagane (2018) Started with Sakura posting blistering metal guitar covers on youtube while in high-school, and the rest of the girls finding her; full lineup came together in 2019. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWmxhYWAlN6Hrrs Kakumei (see Trident, below) Lovebites (2016) Modern Power, Speed, Thrash and Heavy Metal. Most recent official MV, even better than Shadowmaker IMO: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn2plp9_bpiJoa8 Mardelas (2014 Another spin-off from Destrose; mixed male/female) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZWbgWqtidOKgNU Mary's Blood (2008) The first major Destrose Spin-out. Here, Saki murders her guitar without breaking any nails: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g32wY6iki5Werbc Mutant Monster (2008 Punk-pop): kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJWZqqCDh5ljhLc Narumi (solo prog-rock composition-change of pace) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYPcdJR-n9x8nc0 Nemophila: (2019 Supergroup of Mary's Blood guitarist Saki, ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu, ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki, ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam.) kzbin.info/www/bejne/opmQlYmCgLVmZ5Y 54 Nude Honeys (1992 Early Japanese punk-they toured the UK and Europe): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHnRe4alfLNog80 Otoboke Beaver (thrash punk): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJy6l3mOo7Gjj8k Rie aka Suzaku (instrumental guitar) kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2e9Y3p6arikhNU Sonic Lover Reckless (2018 Special project of Miyako Watanabe, one of the two insane Lovebites guitarists): kzbin.info/www/bejne/eom9XqSerclkjKs Telecide (2016 Metalcore, aggressive and melodic at the same time) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZbUXmqQeNGofMU Tricot (2010 Post-progressive math-rock, very technical, crazy time signatures and polyrhythms) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpClkHqXodh9qKc Trident (formerly Kakumei. Evolved from pop-punk to thrashier hard rock; several lineup changes but the bassist and lead singer have been constants) kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5ycpauDpNqIaZY Unlucky Morpheus (2008 Female lead (Fuki) and violin (Jill). This band is a deep well unto itself, they cross many subgenres of metal; Fuki and Jill also do other projects and Fuki is lead for at least two other bands including Doll$Boxx, above): kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGnMkISehMymgdk Wagakki Band (Folk-Metal fusion band, all jedi-level musicians, half of them play traditional Japanese instruments and the other half play standard metal instruments) This song was originally written for a virtual (AI) singer, referred to as a Vocaloid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2PQloqhjNaWY6s There are many more (others that come to mind are BRATS, Drop’s, Stereopony, Scandal, the Lisa-X Group, Hanabie, etc. And of course, there are the female-fronted Kawaii-metal groups like Babymetal, Ladybaby and Ironbunny, to name the three best-known.
Subtitles would be GREAT! Still this was enjoyable to watch :)

the funniest promo ever, they're super serious and kickass, and when the camera takes a step back one lady is rolling on the floor laughing xD And they catch me everytime, each one of those ladies smile is a bowl of fresh air, cause they're also my favorite at each instrument at the moment.
