To me this song shows they are so much more than just a cover / metal band. They are true musicians. Mayu's vocals have improved so much. She was very smart how she sang this song. What I mean is, she didn't over song like so many do. She had the perfect tone and pitch and expressions for a song like this. Know not everyone will understand the lyrics, but still masterfully puts it across you feel it. And the look at the mic as she finishes, superb. And of course, perfectly played by the rest of them.

A beautiful song that deserves to be heard by wide audience. It's use in upcoming Anime will hopefully gain Nemophila new fans. Beth, people have described these ladies as beautiful smile machines, so maybe to make things easier for you, you could introduce them as "The Smile Machines." 😀 Their non controversial alternate name. Thank you for your support of this great band.

There's N & A's unreleased song *"Another Story"* (done during COVID w/o Tamu [no drums] - video taken down but a few reaction videos still up) was a slower song. Then there are released ballads *"Life"* & *"Now I Here".* This song was not a surprise to me. *"Odyssey"* was just well done which surprise me. I knew Mayu had a very good ballad in her just waiting to come out.

Guste o no guste la canción a cualquiera, lo cierto es que Mayu es una cantante fantástica, para mi la mejor, sin duda alguna, y no es que lo diga porque yo sea un super fanático de la banda , estoy siendo objetivo e imparcial. Saludos señorita.

Hi Bapho! I'm not sure. Yes, Tamu plays piano. However, Mayu plays piano, Haraguchi-San plays piano, Hazuki plays piano. I've never seen Saki play piano; but maybe, she plays piano as well? Maybe, the information will be posted on their up-coming album / cd?

Nemophila (Nee-moe-filler 🙂) are getting better and better. it´s strange, but "live" and "odyssee" are my favourites, then "raitai" and "oiran". mayu voice is phenomenal and so is the band.

Hi Beth! Nemophila is simply the most exciting band I've seen since 1980! Their British, American and Japanese covers are usually better than the originals! Their originals explore new dimensions in Music. Nemophila did not write "Odyssey". "Odyssey" was written for an Anime Movie which will be released in March of 2024. They were asked by the producers to perform the song. I think it says something, that people in other arts are recognizing Nemophila's talents. This song is not Nemophila's first ballad. Mayu wrote "Life" as a piano ballad to give herself encouragement after having a third unsuccessful audition. ( Prior to Nemophila) She redid it up-tempo to welcome Tamu back into the band after her difficult pregnancy, delivery, and recovery. Tamu wrote "Game Over". Hazuki wrote the Music to: "Now I Here"; while Saki wrote the Lyrics. I could probably write a dissertation on Nemophila. However, I won't. Beth! Enjoy the journey! Best Wishes! Russ

Cuando Nemophila tocó en The Aftershock Festival en Sacrimento, en octubre de 2022; Tamu compró una casa embrujada con galletas de chocolate en Trader Joe's. Al mismo tiempo, Mayu estaba embarazada de su hijo, a quien dio a luz antes de finales de 2022. The word nemophila is in English, so just pronounce it the English way. If there's people complaining about it, they're the ones who are wrong. Honestly, not trying to pronouncing a word is more annoying to see than mispronouncing it.
