Rip Nemu. She was so adorable as a child. That flashback made me sad as I knew what was coming. Very intresting lieutenant. Definitely the strongest lieutenant or at the minimum top 3 at least based on the fact she did that to Pernida. Her moment in the spotlight was simply perfection. That last shot with her and Mayuri was amazing too, so was the OST. Also Akon is such a chill dude man. Underrated character Also..Pernida was a problem. Such an eerie yet cool Sternritter, not my favorite but I really enjoyed his presence and evolution. Shinigami got really lucky that Mayuri and Nemu ran into him first or else it would have been a major problem given that they would be close range and susceptible to the nerves plus the fact that Pernida would be learning and growing. This made me realise the relation to both Pernida's ability to evolve, as well as Nemu evolving this episode too. What a a lovely episode. 10/10

Beautiful episode man, especially both Mayuri and Nemu in the water, I always imagined like a baby in the womb naked, Nemu is Naked and Mayuri is there with her subconciously. Great episode

To answer you question at the end, it was basically a panel to panel adaptation the last 3 episodes. The post credit scene in this episode with the girl sterritters is new tho. Btw I will say that what episode 34 adapted hit much more in the manga.

Nemu isnt coming back. She actually died. Whatever Mayuri does next will result in a totally different Nemu. The pod doesn’t regenerate them, it just puts them in stasis and heals them a bit. It aint bringing people back to life.

7:02 It could be said that Mayuri stopped calling Nemu no.7 because he grew to care about her, but that would not be in line with how he treated her in the previous arcs. Another way to look at it was that he stopped calling her No.7 because he thought he had succeeded with the Nemuri project and Nemu would be the last. In his eyes, he had achieved 'perfection' with Nemu. It's why 'Szayelaporro' taunts him when he felt despair at Nemu's death and points out his hypocrisy as someone who supposedly doesn't believe in perfection. That being said, I do think he gradually grew to care about Nemu at least by the time of the TWBY even if he didn't initially.

New zombie bambies are quite new. We heard they are zombified in future, but didn't knew about their fate at this point. Also in next episode is last spoiler in opening. Speaking of which, opening was changed this episode. There were moment when opening really quickly goes through Yhwach's royal guard, and in this episode they change it, showing Lillie and Pernida new forms.

Not completely true. Mayuri doesn't know about Ururu (and Jinta too). They, just like Nemu, evolved by their own and were able to surpass the limit of artificial being. So, Mayuri didn't really surpass Urahara

@@Matty_14 How did they evolve though? They are virtually unchanged from the first to last time we saw them. Different clothes maybe, but same personality, just like Kon. Nemu actually changed her personality, went from completely obedient to actively disobeying orders repeatedly in order to protect Mayuri. She still seems to be on the higher tier.

Not really a spoiler but they skiped one page of the manga where explains that Pernidas was not killed, it will constantly grow and explode in an infinite cycle due to Mayuri not allowing it to absorb Nemu's Brain.

Just let it be known how strong she actually was. She knew about its abilities sure, but she also blitz and destroyed a stronger version of Pernida than Kenpachi did. She aint at Kenpachi's level obviously, but I do want to put that out there.
