I kinda wish it were more like Origins though, where he just full-on *talks* (in Complete Sentences™ too!). I understand his training on Mt. Silver was probably so intense, that he just decided to go mute, so he could continue push himself further without talking, just understanding his Pokémon, but well… this seems like a bit of a stretch at this point. He could at least talk with his friends or others out of battles. TLDR: Red’s no-talking thing feels like a stale joke to me at this point and thanks for coming to my TED Talk ^^ 👍, next TED Talk is on Steven Stone’s level of handsomeness compared to others in the series (S-Rank, imo… *swoons* 😍)

It's quite nice to see Professor Oak compliment Blue for his accomplishments (even tho he did lose against Red again), as you didn't see it in the original games and immediately criticised Blue for his behaviour. Also, it is nice to see that Blue is definitely the leader among the trio and his quick team, as he took responsibility by apologising for not teaching his students how to enjoy battling, and didn't get salty for his teammates not able to win like a great leader does. He does live it up as a good role model for others (anyone remembers Blue's dialogue during the 1st anniversary? He talked about that lol) Kinda wished you could see what other participants of groups in the event like what Galar did, because it does felt like it is just the Kanto trio fighting against each other for the title when everyone else can join this challenge.

In fairness, Blue was A LOT more arrogant back then and only cared about winning, hence why Prof. Oak had to tell him to make PkMn battling about *everyone* and not just himself. It’s nice to see that he seems to have changed for the better :)

There isn't really a leader for the kanto trio, that's the point of this event,all 3 of them are exceptionally leaders who specialise in their own ways All 3 of them are different,but they just know how to work together
