Junk speeder is actually pretty nice. And it is easy to get good support that won't be banned, just insert the clause "you can only special ssummon from the extra deck "____" monster type for the rest of the turn that you activate this effect." So you could have something akin to Needlefibre, but it would have to have the effect that you can only synchro summon for the rest of the turn that you activate the tuner summon effect.

Doesn't the two new Junk monsters help though? I mean, Junk Speeder summons like five tuners and the Junk link monster probably helps out too? Either way, if synchrons get support then they will be used to spam out OP synchros like Omega, instead of the regular Synchron monsters. NeedleFibre is used in every deck with a tuner and not just in Crystrons.

Fortunately (from a balance perspective) you cannot link summon the turn you activate Junk Speeder's effect. Also Omega is (rightfully) limited.

Stephen Schur I don't mind omega being limited. As a synchro player myself, that crap was 1) boring and 2) busted. What really bugs me is that speeder, as neat that it is, locks you into synchro. But at that point, the only thing you can do i synchro climb, because it doesn't say for the rest of the turn, but for the whole turn, I have to use only synchros. And as much as it makes symchro climbing extremely easy, no one is gonna be stoped by only one synchro monster. The thing I really hate is that they made super difficult making good synchro support without making it dumb extra link spam support. Both need the same thing, but with extra link being a thing that exists, I fear that synchros are truly a lost cause this time.

remember that neos deck can benefit from "legacy of a hero" which is an amazing card if used on the right time it can be somewhat cheated out with summoning a hero monster via instant fusion for some link plays incase you have trouble with getting them to the grave

The A Listers she just needs a restriction like ss only warrior monsters for the rest of the turn. Maybe that's just a temporary band aid but that way she's still nice support for warrior decks and doesn't enable the extra links... until konami releases an extra link warrior archetype but that's a design issue with links rather than Isolde

I actually cried when I saw this new support not just because of the fact they're actually good but because 2 years ago I sold my max rarity air neos otk deck because I needed the money to get a better deck and now I can rebuild the deck yes but a lot of the max rarity holos I had in the deck have shot up in price way above my budget thanks to these new cards coming out soon. this makes twice now i regretted selling off a deck i made for the fun of it because it helped me love yugioh like i did when i was younger come around and bite me in the butt later

You know what's funny? I literally was thinking of new Neos support today while on college cause I just love Neos so much. Seeing this new support just got me really excited, now I think the only thing we are missing for the deck to be perfectly playable are retrains of the old neo-spacians. Maybe call them "Neo-spacian neo grand mole" for exam, and gave some effects to improve the archeotype consistency (of course they should be treated as the original neo-spacians while on field and GY). Although really happy about the new cards, definitely gonna use this deck at locals once this cards arrives in the TCG

Dustin Vance yeees all of this!!!! Synchron got terrible after the omega ban. Love it or hate it, omega was the sole reason to still play a synchro deck. Now that he is gone, we can't manage to keep up with the link spam and then also synchro. And needlefiber doesn't count because 1) I bet whatever you want that it's gonna be a secret short print worth 100+ $ 2) no one is ever gonna use it for synchro plays, but only as a link extender 3)it's support for an archetype that doesn't even benefit that much from it. It might as well be just link support.
