Awesome, I'm working on a project where I would like to know where the magnet is within the tube. Do you think there is a way to infer this based on the current? Maybe resistance? With a series of different anodes or something up the tube? Maybe it is too fine resolution, idea is still in it's infancy but if anyone has suggestions that would be great. Thanks for the video!

Hi Alfred, Nice experiment. I didn't know that work in aluminum tube as in copper tube. Did you tried to measure Eddy current in copper tube?

Thx, Tomy. The effect is more marked in copper, but I only have copper tubes with thin walls. Fat copper tube is hard to get, but would be nice.
