Neon reacts to Sakura Gakuin - 2013 Nendo Pre Test ''Prank''

This is one of my absolute all time favorite Sakura Gakuin videos. But also, in all seriousness, it is a testament to SG members ability and dedication. Mastering a bogus dance routine in an hour and actually making it look damn good. When people want to know how BabyMetal are able to be so precise and consistent with their choreography for the entire length of a full BabyMetal concert, I want them to see this video to understand where and how Su, Moa, Yui and (2 of 3) Avengers, Kano and Momoko, got their dance chops. These girls are ready for anything. Also, having Mikiko-metal as their choreographer and teacher IRL, instead of evil Mori-sensei or Eddie Murphynton probably helps a little bit. Always more Eddie Murphynton forever! :)

The two main things I take from this: - I‘m really impressed how quickly the girls are learning those dance moves. Incredible! - Mori-sensei is hilarious! The lengths he goes to for a successful and funny prank know no bounds. And kudos to Mr. Murphinton as well, he obviously had to learn the choreography himself first to be able to teach it. That’s some real dedication!

Mori sensei has chosen to be evil, so that the girls can be good. When I read what Yuzumi said about him in her radio show, I was moved to tears. She was so thankful for what he did and keeps doing.

It's always been hard for me to pick a favorite from class of 2013. The seniors, Marina/Marippe (president), Hinata, Nene/Nenedon, and Raura are each so unique in character. You find something to love in each of them. Marina's spasmic arms, Nene's laugh, Hinata's goofiness, Raura's stern seriousness. And let's not forget Baby chan/Ooga Saki, and Hana the third member of Mini-Pati(who I've met several times and seen her perform beyond Sakura Gakuin.

So glad you noticed Aiko. This was her first year in the group but she grew into one of the biggest and best personalities Sakura Gakuin has ever had. If you're looking for a post-Moa and Yui Sakura girl to watch, Aiko would be the one. She's the only person apart from Su to have had a solo song on a Sakura Gakuin album (and Su only got hers because she was the only senior the year she graduated) and she wrote it herself as well!

Mori really brought out the akuma for this one. I don't at all fault Nene-don for resorting to violence. However, it certainly does demonstrate the great talent, skill, and determination the girls have for picking up and learning choreography when put to the task. They were doing so well! I love the look on Hana's face, like she's sensing something might be awry with this routine. Aiko's look is also princeless when she learns that "Mr. Murphyton" speaks Japanese. She seems to be thinking "Oh no, I'm the youngest here. How many years will I be putting up with this insanity?" :D

As I have said before, the magical Marina Horiuchi is my all-time favorite Sakura Gakuin girl. Unfortunately, 2013 was her last year. Aiko Yamaide will be around for quite awhile as she was one of the longest serving members of Sakura Gakuin. Another super cutie to take note of is Saki Ooga.

I don't see much difference between that and the other Sakura Gakuin dances. Other than the pelvic thrust. That is the big problem with the prank. The dance should have been much sillier. I mean i love the video. But it's cruel because they really didn't have much reason to think it was fake. With a few small changes they could have performed that.

@Scott Humphreys A lot of the so called "dance moves" were bits from old comic routines. Granted Mori-sensei was a lot more familiar with them than the girls were.

They wanted to make it sillier, but they didn't have the right permit, and weren't able to get a grant from the Ministry of Silly Dances.
