After the viral Air Italy 737-800 low landing, the record was only broken by last year's Wizz Air A321neo, which came in just a few meters over the fence for a spectacular landing on runway 01. Stand right below EI-HIM, a Neos 737-8ME, as the jet approaches low over the airport beach, before turning around, taxiiing back and taking off to Karpathos then Verona, blasting away the plane spotters standing behind the jetblast!

By all love for the thrill of this unique airport, I'm waiting for the day the headlines say "Person seriously injured on silly behaviour at Skiathos Airport"...I'm surprised that people are so dull just for a few snap of fame...especially on departures facing the jet blast

At the end of the day it is a public road, however there is an increasing amount of signage and warning for clueless tourists. Plane spotters are well aware of the danger!
