Indians need to thank the British colonialism for all those publicity and credits they've been getting for almost everything that originates from this subcontinent. For example they call our tigers as Bengal tiger, our beloved one horned rhinos as Indian rhino and so on. These names must be changed in popular usage and practice worldwide. Else it's gonna be super frustrating for us forever

Similarly Tibetan fox for foxes found in our hills and mountains, Indian elephants, Burmese python and so on. Most of our species are identified as Himalayan, Indian, Tibetan, Bengali, Assamese, Burmese etc. There's no animal with name such as Nepalese _____. Hence we should start calling our animals as our own. Nepalese/Nepali (elephant, rhinoceros, gharial crocodile, dolphin, tiger etc.)
