This was our last day on the Poon Hill Trek in Nepal and by far the most challenging one we faced. The day started with a 4am hike to reach Poon Hill which was the highest point of the trek. There were a few setbacks along the way which was not what we expected. However, we would absolutely recommend this trek to anyone visiting Nepal as there is some next level beauty on offer.

Climate change is real folks. This is the first time that the monsson lasted for greater than 4 months and extended till late October. Never have we before experienced DASHAIN and monsoon level of rains.... It used to always be bright and sunny in the day this time of the year, with slight chilly winds.... Looks like the winter is going to be even more cold and brutal.....

you guys are above the cloud. I'd been there 3 years ago, weather was clear and we enjoyed a lot with view and spend about 5hr there. That view was amazing guys trust me. You should wait to clear the weather. But I think it's monsoon is going on Nepal.Take care guys

You guys crack me up with your granny walk. I hope you enjoyed that massage! Still beautiful views and great atmosphere in the rain. We took a taxi up to Sangachok where you also have a beautiful view of the mountain range (on a clear day) and walked back down to Pokhara. But that might not appeal to you right now. enjoy the rest of your trip.

Sorry that you we're not able to see all the Himalayan range but definitely High Five's for the effort and always positive attitude:). Cheerio. BTW, in Feb we had a lot of snow and ice (just in case you'll be one day back. I know I will:), and view on sunrise was totally spectacular. Sorry you had bad weather and didn’t get to see the sunrise. Hope Libby feels better now you’re down from altitude. When I went up there last week there must have been more than 200 people up there. I spent last night in Nagarkot, near Kathmandu. It’s absolutely stunning there, the views are incredible- the best I’ve seen in Nepal! Well worth a visit if you can get there x

Thanks for lovely video. though Poonhill is beginners trek but I felt it got hard on you. You were better on Bandipur trek . Try 'sound bath' it's an ancient singing bowl meditation which will provide complete relief to your mind and body after hard trek . Some centers in Lake side organize free session .

4095m is still considered a hill here not a mountain lol 😆 also you can't just turn up to climb kinabalu, you need to have a slot booked to climb it and there wasn't any availability till November
