Those Trout were eating as well as yourself, not long, but very thick. Loved the vid, don't mind longer ones that keep you entertained. Very jealous with that type of fihsing and what would have been a lovely meal. Well done Mick!

Mate they were hungry, my last trip there a month ago, I only got one fish all day... It was such an awesome day, nothing like being out in the bush fishing. Cheers for the feedback and I only wish KZbin had a function to be able, to give you all a taste of that fish yummo

mate how good! Fresh catch and cook, and you're fishing at the same time, even better its in the nepean system. Great work!

It's awesome we got trout in the Nepean, just in time for the trout streams closure... Year round trout fishing once again, can't beat a feed of fresh fish. 👍 Cheers for the comment mate

How good did that cooked trout look. Made my mouth water. I have only eaten trout a few times and never caught one either so something I have to try doing more of

Was bloody delicious mate yummo. They are a fun fish to target the trout, once they start getting 40+, they can put up one hell of a fight. One of the best fights I have had, was with a 2kg, 60cm brown trout. It was in some really deep water, so she pulled some string, taking several dives towards the bottom...

Beauty fish mate, I’ve never got a trout…. Andy said that when I get to camberra/ACT he might take me trouting 😊. I never used to be good at fishing (like my line was green and that sorta stuff) when I used to got trouting like 2 times. Keep up the good work and tight line bro 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
@bushfishncook21284 ай бұрын
They are great fun trout 🎣 Well if Andy takes you trout fishing, you will definitely have a blast and catch trout 👍 Trout definitely require the right gear to catch them, you will still get the odd one but yeah I like to have at least 6lb fluorocarbon leader, they have extremely good eyes, so you almost need to stalk them, thanks for watching mate 👍 tight lines 🎣

No drama bro, I said you probably stocking shelves in the dark at work still hahaha Hopefully you can get a trip in soon, my favourite part about this spot though, it's not even a trip but it feels like you are miles away... 🎣

New sub. Nice smoked trout mate, only way to eat them. Bit worried about a few of those fish. They had sores or worm on their lateral lines. Bit of a worry, unless they got it sliding down the wall. Trout can live in the Grose year round no probs.
@bushfishncook21285 ай бұрын
Hey mate, great to have you on board 👍 Most of the sores and damage was most likely from coming over the wall, one of them definitely had worms or some kind of bacterial infection, definitely not good at all... Ahh yes I caught them up the Grose a long time after it appeared, as if they were long gone. The Grose is looking way deeper now, so that should help a few survive there, for even longer now. This one's not the Grose river though.

That last hen has some issues. Lol. Half an opercula and half a tail.
@bushfishncook21285 ай бұрын
Yeah they get pretty battered and bruised coming into the system... sometimes they have half their head smashed in, way tougher than people give them credit for...

Cheers as always for the awesome comment as always 👍 I have had it for over a year but haven't used it often, my TD black needs a service or better yet, a new reel all together hahaha The Infeet rod is a lot softer than the TD black and much better for trout, I have noticed I'm losing a lot less fish now.
