This is such a beautiful Nepenthes. I love the way they present themselves. Such beautiful colors and textures! I just bought my first greenhouse/polytunnel and I can't wait to start adding more carnivorous plants to my collection. They are absolutely amazing in so many ways! Thank you so much for sharing such a great video Brad! I always appreciate these videos so I can get to know this varieties just a little bit better.

Nice video. Lovely plant. Congrats on getting it to size finally. Shout outs are good. I'd love to see that plant in a bin if the person has a youtube. Anyway glad you fixed the camera issue. That other video was giving me a headache.

I know that sometimes reddening of leaves, leaf/stem interface (i think its called) can be a sign of magnesium deficiency or too much light which causes a visible deficiency but is nothing you can add magnesium to fix, since its a result of the mechanism for the use of magnesium in chlorophyl production is being overworked, the magnesium becomes unavailable. Not due to lack of magnesium as previously stated but because the magnesium cant be taken in and processed fast enough 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤔🤔😎😎

It's a shame I can't get hold of one of these in the UK for my own tropical greenhouse. Very useful, thanks.

Hey brad, awesome plant! I live in west Vancouver so we have approximately the same conditions. I also have a small greenhouse that I might want to convert into a growspace for CPs, I’m just wondering how you heat it in winter and how much does it cost for you to heat it to a satisfactory temperature?

can you place the tendrils into sphagnum moss to let the pitcher develop in low humidity

Do you have any tips on where/how to get one? They seem more difficult than Hamata to get. O.o

I have one plant, I know what you say. Did I here this right🤔 you put “miracle grow pellets” into the pitchers? Each one or one every month or two? I’ve had mine a year never have fed it. It’s growing nice n healthy has beautiful pitchers on it but have noticed lately some smaller pitchers are die is this normal at this time of the year I keep it pretty all the time!? It’s inside with my Orchids I have few flytraps they are losing som traps but u say that’s normal for them right? I find these very fascinating! Waiting to hear from you thank you 😊 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊🎈
@BradsGreenhouse5 жыл бұрын
Osmocote pellets, they are different than miracle grow. Safe for nepenthes. Yes, flytraps should be dormant this time of year :)Happy new year!
@donnacone47145 жыл бұрын
One of my questions was “should the Nepenthe be dormant in winter also”? My pitchers are drying up not all of them! 🤔. Thank you

Donna Cone Why can’t you just look the info up yourself? Why are you growing plants you appear to know so little about?

Ever try To grow them on a windosill? I would like To try... but only if it for it to survive😂
@Raeuber_Plotzenhotz3 жыл бұрын
difficult to grow Nepenthes like Edwardsiana are not recommended for growing on a windowsill. They propably wouldnt even pitcher and grow even slower than they already do in optimum conditions.
