Hi, I watched this video and the first one and wanted to let you know that it was invaluable to me as I was building my babies enclosure. I’m proud of the finished product and I was hoping to share it with you to see what you thought but I don’t know how to send you the photos. If you would like to see it maybe you could tell me how to share the photos with you. If not, that’s ok too because I really just wanted to thank you for creating the perfect tutorial video for me to make sure my Pebbles and Bam Bam has a happy happy home… THANK YOU! Robert F.

I just added a zoo med hood after viewing some of your enclosure videos. I have 2 5.0’s in it. I also have the heat bulb and a 5.0 in my dome which is all I had before today. I only have one live plant at the moment. I was having trouble getting my plants to live. How do I add an image
@NeptunetheChameleon4 жыл бұрын
julia leach What kind of zoo med hood? You should only have 2 bulbs. One for heat and a T5 HO UVB. Maybe a plant light as a 3rd bulb.
@bookerkaminske444 жыл бұрын
I love your videos they are always very helpful! But what would be the best substrate besides bear bottom.
@NeptunetheChameleon4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'd recommend a fully bioactive bottom if you're not going to do a bare bottom. I've seen some people also use paper towels and change them out daily, and that seems to work fine too. You want to avoid things like bark and carpet that can either accidentally be ingested by your cham, or grow bacteria.
@SR-ie3lj3 жыл бұрын
Dumb question, Can you have too many plants? I have so many plants that its pretty dark on the on the bottom half. I'd say about 65% of my cage is darker
@NeptunetheChameleon3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you can. You may want to consider getting a plant LED light. This will help the plants and make the enclosure brighter. I use the Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED bar.

Theoretically, yes. But from what I've heard they have no interest in the beetles because they don't taste great.

do you think a money tree is good for inside a veiled chameleon enclosure? i cant find anything online 😕
@NeptunetheChameleon4 жыл бұрын
From what I know they have a hard time surviving in an enclosure. I’d check out your local plant nursery. Most plants you can buy online are going to be very small.

I have a Jackson chameleon im new with them her name is Bean. I am having a hard time with cooling her temp down and humidity up. She dont like worms she had some horn worms in the beginning but now she won't eat them anymore. I like your videos but not much on Jackson chameleons.
@NeptunetheChameleon4 жыл бұрын
Here is my video on ways you can increase humidity levels: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX_LiKKZrst9d9E I would try putting an ice pack or ice cubes on top of her enclosure to try and cool it down. Chameleons are picky eaters and need a variety of feeders. I would watch this video about different types of bugs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3OkpGWFqJaLhJo Almost all of my videos offer advice that is applicable for Jackson's chameleons :)
