The Evilest of Penguins do you have skyrim on pc? If so, download the no spiders mod, it turns them into static models of bears and removes the creepy sounds they make. It makes that part laughable, and once you get past it, you'll be able to enter any cave with no fear of any spiders! Hope this helps, the game is genuinely enjoyable once you get into it! :)

I was far, far away from the screen because I am an arachnophobic and I cant deal with any spider videogame or real life. I was smiling but cringing at the same time, however, I have played Skyrim and that has a big, big spider in it but I still haven't gotten over spiders. If there's a big spider in any part of a room I will either go outside of the entire house or back very slowly watching the spider to see if it moves and close the door and either get my brother or dad to get rid of it and even after that I will not go in my room for several hours just in case it was a female spider and it laid some eggs. so that's how big of an arachnophobic I am but I got through this video without screaming, unlike Dan who whimpered really loudly. GJ Dan I'm proud of you and I'm proud of any other arachnaphobic's here who gets scared to death by spiders for clicking on this video.BTW I am proud of Dan for accepting this challenge but he won't do it again. Probably. :)

The frenzy thing is actually because a lot of Bloodborne is related to H. P. Lovecraft stories and in those the protagonist usually goes insane after fearing of or seeing horrendous monsters. Frenzy would be the insanity after seeing things such as the brain of mensis, which is what is bothering you in that tower
