I kinda like it, because nothing looks real about the game, and the whole premise is constantly impressed upon you in a very surreal way. And plus, nothing in the game is actually animated above the level of "it zig-zags or wobbles slightly". They could all be done better, yes, but the weirdness is pretty much uniform across the whole thing in a way that I (personally) don't mind.

You know, I think the animals move so goofy and funny to draw people in and get them to start playing. You see that and you think "What the hell is this game, this is hilarious" and it makes someone interested. Then the game slowly changes from a goofy funny thing to what Everything really is. I think it makes more people play it than otherwise would.
