That mashing Judo minigame is the complete opposite of how Judo works. The whole point of the art is non-resistance, acting along the inertia of your opponent.

Yea Olympic judo is wierd. You fight for the grip and then resist being thrown and use strength to throw your opponent. Especially if you compare it to something like kyushindo

@@JamieBFilms I don't mind fighting for the grip, but simply resisting and opposing resistance removes the mind games around pushing/pulling and keeping a stable stance. I understand Olympic judoka are strong enough to not _need_ to find a path of least resistance, but that is to me the whole point of Judo. Now I wonder how would I turn _that_ into game mechanics.
