Dan doing the egg task was basically exactly like a task from the show. The elaborate set up at the start, disassembling that elaborate set up in favor of a crazy scheme that seems unlikely to work, the near triumph followed by despair, and then finally the sarcastic one point awarded from Greg

I love how you can see the logic in some of the tasks that let you cheat. Making a sandwich- The task STARTS when you are holding both spatulas. So you can get the bread, toast it, cook the meat, set everything out nice and easy to access. THEN pick up the spatulas and put it together. Move the egg as far as you can before putting it in the frying pan. Righht next to you is a coffee cup and a spatula. Put the Cup on the spatula, set up a box under thew tube. Have the egg fall into the cup, THEN pick up the spatula and balance the cup and egg as you walk as far away as you can.Carry the Pan in your other hand, when you're far away enough, drop the egg / cup into the frying pan. The developers knew the show well, and they perfectly set it up for you to be cheeky about your solution.

I felt the same but it's turned out better than I expected. Though I'd be lying if I didn't admit I wish there was a non VR version for people who can't afford VR headsets or prefer playing on consoles.

It's just hard to make a VR game where you go "do something" feel different to a similar do something game, especially when most VR games are mostly about showing off their physics engines Like I can see the similarities but I wouldn't call it reskinned at all, it's still very different, it's just following the VR game design
