To be fair Mighty and Ray were also in the moderately popular Sonic the Hedgehog comic series(rip) from Archie Comics, pre and post reboot, as part of the Chaotix, and Mighty, with Ray as his companion, had his own arc of sorts in the sister comic at the time, Sonic Universe.

Well, the amount of places in the Adventure games and all subsequent games "EGGMAN" would pop up would be too hard to change and too confusing to leave in, so they had to just have him change his name to Eggman.

Espio* Sonic the Comic was simultaniously the best and worst thing for me. It's the worst because the way they characterised a lot of the charcters is, in my opinion, superior to how Sega characterises them. Especially Knuckles, who used to be my favourite. I remember playing Sonic Adventure 2 and feeling they'd just ruined him. It only got worse as years went on. I liked the Chaotix Crew in the comics as well. Such a good comic series. I still have mine, too. I really should find some sleeves for them, keep them in good condition.

This game looks awesome for its time! If you ever want to see Mighty and Ray, read the Archie comics version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Gives them a really good back story, albeit simple, and makes Mighty insanely strong! Was really sad to here it had been cancelled last year.

I don't know how many people you know that try to beat their highest rental score, or beat other people at renting the most amount of movies. Generally, you watch a movie because you know you'll like it, and maybe be able to talk about it with your friends. You play at arcades and buy microtransactions for the short-term dopamine boosts that companies carefully construct to make you pay over and over. They are very, very different things.
