What a challenge this was to make! Love making the realistic rust and stuff! :) A big thanks to our Patrons and Members this month, no early access on this one, but we'll be back with an early access shortly! Also planning to do some more behind the scenes content for Patrons and Members in the future! Much love 💜

It was awesome, came together very well. One suggestion to consider for any future dioramas involving railways would be to paint the sleepers of the railway track to make them look like wood or concrete. It doesn’t detract from this one but was something I noticed. Always great watching you work.

The spill (10:59) makes it looks more authentic I think, since a lot of deep tunnels flood when they're no longer maintained because of how close they are to the ground water. Especially in Russia, cause of how deep a lot of the metros are.

I sees cat, I clicks like. Seriously, though, it's an interesting project. As it happens, earlier today I watched a Luke Towan video, about how to build a "museum quality", ultra-realistic model railway station. And he has, in fact, built a metro station before (but a normal, non-post-apocalyptic one). Now Luke Towan is a bit like Leonardo da Vinci, in the sense that he builds amazing things, and you think "I could never do that". And here you are, stuffing a drain pipe with a German post-war three-axle passenger car, and not only does it look like I could do it myself, it totally looks like a video game. So yeah, good job.

For making figure stand, don’t use glue. It is difficult to make correction if you want to re-position the figure. Plus, if you add to much glue, it will flood out from the figure once you press them down to the base. In a clean diorama this is a problem. The way I did it was I drilled 0.5mm hole on the base of the figure. Then insert 0.5mm rod (steel or plastic) into the drilled hole on the figure’s base. Drill 0.5mm hole on the spot where you want to place the figure. Insert the figure with a rod already inserted onto the diorama. If you don’t like it, you can drill new hole and easily cover the unused hole. Plus now you can hold the figure for easy painting.
