@@NerdoftheRings your knowledge is invaluable! I discovered Tolkien like a month or two before the first movie came out, so saying it was love at first reading/sight is an understatement 😁 Naturally I wanted more so I went for the Silmarillion and was utterly defeated 🙈 Too many names, places, events, ties... I was overwhelmed and basically felt stupid. Then I started the Unfinished Tales, Children Of Hurin and dipped my toes in other works like Beowulf. But I was always drawn to Middle-Earth and it's twisted history, even though it didn't make much sense to me. Luckily I stumbled across your chanel and after watching your videos I decided to give the Silmarillion another try. It's like I was reading a different story! I'm not saying I'm a lore master, but at least I am able to understand and appreciate the rich and intricate world Tolkien strived to create.

Charles played a great Celebrimbor, I also like how Sauran plays the perfect psychopath - always looking and listening to those he is around: what do they desire, "how can I use their desires to get what I want" and then truly loving the inevitable betrayal. Very good performances by both actors imo; My favorite parts of Season 2. My second favorite part was the dwarf king overcoming the ring (putting down power/temptation), praising his son and dying like a badass vs the balrog: the kings end really bothered my children but to me it was perfect ♥
