Lucathor you’ve inspired me to take a used rey blaster I got , that’s sadly in bad shape but I wouldn’t mind using it to do something like this tho it would need a lot of body work on the outside

Dang it, that looked so stupidly cool with all the attatchments on it. All it needed was a bolt action like priming handle to become a rifle. Also love the idea of a wooden stock on it 🤘

That is DEFINITELY a Mauser, remember Han Solo's DL44 was made by Lucas Arts prop department from a Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"

Actually - it came from the arsenal at Pinewood Studios. It had been used at least in two earlier films. If you look at the poster for THE NAKED RUNNER - you’ll see it is exactly the same deactivated pistol. There’s an Ian McShane film in which it was used as well.

A 'red 9' has a red inlaid 9 carved into the grips so the troops didn't mix up which ammo to use.

This is pretty cool. The mag stuff is nice, but I think I would rather have a regular Talon or Katana magwell. But Lucha does do some awesome work.

I’d call it the Mauser 712. The C96 is clip fed, the 712 was mag fed. The DL-44 in The Force Awakens was put together with an Air Soft M-712.

I understand why you'd say it looks like a tec 9, but i think it still resembles a mauser, just not the regular c96 or m712: look up the m1917 carbine version -> they are super uncommon but its got the carbine barrel as well as a 40rd stick magazine

the Red9 was my handgun of choice when I played RE4. I know it was either the blacktail with its finesse, or the Red9 with its power (and stock), but while the Blacktail looked like another generic Handgun, the Red9 had better looks. and then theres the matilda handgun, a chunky burst round pistol which was overrated.

I have the reys blaster and it probably shoots that hard if not a little harder and my secret is I took a spring out of a cheap airsoft pistol and so it shoots way harder

It looks nothing like the Red9, but to be fair it's a nerf plaster, so you won't really get too close anyways. The stripper clip is accurate to the game though.

I have. Rapid strike "uzied" with squarish drain pipe barrel to make a plasma rifle. I then attached that rapidstrike stock to a revonix 360 to make a "BFG". I never finished either project

The c96 was created in 1895 by the company called Mauser and it was used by the imperial Germany during the First World War but I heard Spain copy the C96 and also China did. The c96 has few variants but the most rarest Variant is the 9mm aka the Red 9

Walcom you're completely wrong, that not a Mauser or a tec-9, it's obviously a Skorpion, so uncultured. Also yes the muzzle device is meant to come off so you can put it on the blaster when in pistol form, and I wouldn't be surprised if newer Han solo blaster can as well since they have the cutout for the stock
