The sand smelling thing is a gladiator reference. He smells it so he can get a feel for the soil, and how it'll feel to move on it. He's so educated in the ways of war that he knows what his footwork will feel like based on the smell of the soil. He's a madman.

I'm so happy they made them OP, Reiko was the character I was the most excited about returning, but ultimately disapointed me for the lack of depth on the gamerplay, then Tremor, my favorite on MKX came to help a brother out, perfect Kombo for me!

You know I could live with his super high damage off grabs with tremor (most characters can do similar off a hit), I could live with how the command grabs put you close to him-he’s a grappler, I could live with him doing 53% if he spends everything.
