I wonder if those were people from a different audience. They looked familiar. I do know that they will mix audiences and reactions up. I knew someone years back who went on AGT with a cute dog and pony act, and she told me that when it was aired they used clips of another audience booing, when that never happened to her. I have also seen the same scenes in different shows.

In the case of Gruffydd's audition, the clips of his friends would have to be authentic because they all run up to hug him in front of the judges to congratulate him.

What I admire most though was the support and cheering and love of his friends. They had tears of joy for their mate in their eyes and got him through a difficult situation before. Awesome! I always get anxious when he stops the performance of a child and I was worried about this guy being he was so nervous. I have saw several seasoned performers say they get stage fright every time they preform . One person said if he didn’t get butterflies anymore he would know it was time to quit.
