i think that shigemasa matsuo was a sound designer at konami not a composer. i'm guessing that manami matsumae was a composer for the game with matsuo arranging the tracks for this game

@@the-NightStar Fair enough, to each their own. Off the top of my head, in no particular order, I can think of quite a few NES soundtracks I like a lot better: 1. Kirby's Adventure 2. Mr. Gimmick 3. Journey to Silius 4. Megaman 2 5. Megaman 3 6. Mario 3 7. Mario 2 8. Shatterhand 9. Choujin Sentai Jetman 10. Silver Surfer 11. Pictionary (hey, it's Tim Follin!) 12. Jackal 13. Ufouria 14. Crisis Force 15. Gradius II 16. Kage/Shadow of Ninja 17. Ninja Gaiden 18. Solstice 19. Bionic Commando 20. Blaster Master 21. Super C 22. Little Nemo 23. Legend of Zelda 24. Adventures of Link 25. Shadowgate Again, this doesn't mean this is a bad one, just that NES is spoiled for choice with great VGM. That said, I would love to see your top 15, just for the sake of discovering new ones!
