I remember playing this game when I was a kiddo. The show was immensely popular to me and when I saw an NES cartridge with their faces on it I had to play it. Some grocery stores in the early 90's had a videogame rental section so I begged my mom to let me rent that game for the weekend and was so excited to get home so I could play it. Long story short I was super disappointed. I don't think I even got past the space madness level either. It just was not at all what I was expecting, despite the many references from the show. Monday morning at school I told my buddy about it and when he asked how it was I told him "Ehh, it was sucky." :(

it actually was one of my favorite games back then) though I had no idea who characters are but I enjoyed it a lot especially further Space Madness stages (where it goes more and more puzzle and almost no space shooting), I did finished it and replayed a ton, also it was one of my first steps in learning English

Been watching the channel backlog (somehow missed out on years of content so lots of catching up to do) and while I was aware of a lot of these obscure titles never knew much beyond when they got a blurb in a gaming magazine. Really great to see someone bite the bullet and showcase some of it. This game looks like an absolute fever dream and as someone who grew up loving Ren and Stimpy am very happy I never played any of the games.

It does kind of remind me of the Genesis B and B game, although with less item based puzzle solving. Both are equally frustrating honestly.

I think the whole game is made as a joke about the cash grab of making a licensed game adaptation of a popular cartoon. They knew it would be crap which makes it meta.

I rented one of the Ren and Stimpy games and was happy to have a Game Genie at the time because for being marketed for kids the games were near impossible without putting in a ton of effort just to get an inch through the game. Never heard of or played this game until years later. Honestly, most of the Nickelodeon Games really sucked until later systems and my guess is because they rushed out games so they could get that sweet sweet cash.

This is another Game I had no Idea existed. James did you watch the show at all? do you remember that Episode where Stimpy Farted but He didn't know what it was and he said "Something Came Out of his Butt." and he went off Looking for his Fart like it had Run Away from Home to find it and Bring it Back? Man they don't make Shows like Ren and Stimpy anymore.

I’ve recently been on the trip of playing overlooked/ignored/terrible games lately myself. Because you can’t just keep playing Zelda and Mario games forever, right? Dig the channel. I recently played this one. I mean, yeah it’s bad, and it’s certainly going to collect a lot of dust, but there was enough bad charm for me to power through it. Twice. Because I could I guess..

Nice! About 25 of these videos in, I'd say Ren and Stimpy isn't the worst, it's just bland. Like slightly better than Cool World, but not as atrocious as Fun House.

It seems to have been created with the same engine as The Simpsons games. Because of this it feels like a weird rom hack. It is appreciated that, at least, on this occasion they allowed us to choose if we wanted to jump and run with the same button 😅 It's also a horrible game. Surely he would have completed it as a child because, at that time, he had no life

I used to love this show. Found out as an adult that the whole premise of the show was just one big gay joke. I think the music is upbeat jazz, not rockabilly, but that's OK. Minor error. I think the best Ren & Stimpy game is Quest for the Shaven Yak on Game Gear. I was playing Fire Dogs today. Well, sir. I didn't like it. Happy happy joy joy!
