I'm with you my man. I stayed up alot of weekends trying to beat this one but I was in my 20's when I finally accomplished what I couldn't for the biggest part of my childhood. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that wasted life in front of the TV...lol. Good times though bro and I would give anything to go back in the day when times were simply better. Memories are all anyone has when times are missed, to look back on and smile. Later bro and like I said...I feel you on that one 👌👍👋

For a guy that just held aloft his magic sword, turned into a blue dragon then suddenly got 3 heads and travelled back in time to kill giant turtles and flaming phoenix birds....he seems to have adapted pretty well.

Well there is a more of a polished version of this game in Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary. All the games there still keep their same 8-bit graphics but they look better and with the music that is the same, but sounds better. not sure if you can count it, but Dragon Spirit is awesome.

As a kid i found a couple secrets and game breaking glitches messing around wondering what happens if i go here or do this or entirely by accident.For this gem of a game i found out if you die during the first boss the scene that plays after victory still plays and instead of becoming a blue dragon, you become a golden dragon that that is more powerful.I cant remember much as it was long ago but that's the gem within the gem. owo) Enjoy my friends.

I remember doing the same thing. Eventually I always tried to beat the boss without getting hit. Accidentally this was a play style I picked up that served me well in Castlevania

Yeah! The gold dragon is like this game's easy mode. Interesting way that they did it, instead of selecting the difficulty from a menu, the game basically just sees how you do at the intro level and provides you with a difficulty level accordingly.

still one of my favorites of all time and just got to say amazing playthough god the music alone made this game golden not to mention everything else like multi-head, green dragon (the best one) as well as white and red and the boss battles and the only game i know where you have to shoot in both ski and ground lvls... this game needs a reboot leaving it as is (maybe adding some lvls) and updated graphics with a band that follows the sound track i would easily drop $30-40 for it. btw fav tracks are lvl 1 though 3 easy as well as the fight before last with the dragon heads from the hole.

Great soundtrack all around but Glacier Land was my fav, 2nd was Volcano. I can't remember how many times i played through this game. BTW; Fuuuuuuuck Cave Road and Dark Quarters... haaated those levels with every fiber of my being.

Odd question, but for some reason I remember Glacer Land having Pteranodons and weird ray-type enemies that traveled from bottom to top of the screen at the beginning of the mission. Am I missing something?

I've played this game many times, but I still don't know, what does it depend on, if there was a girl at the and of each level, or only her silhouette. Girl can heal you sometime, or give you some help, but silhouette - can't do that. And they speaking different words. So what do you have to do to see the girl in color???? (Sorry for my bad english).
