Nestor actually had a great last couple of months. Just look at his game log. The Yankees won 6 out of his 7 starts. That's why they would even consider bringing him back as opposed to Stroman, who was 10-9, but got lit up 3 out of his last 4 outings.

Yanks really need that additional bullpen arm, seeing how exhausted the pen was in just 5 games against Cleveland, which wasn't exactly a ferocious offense. I expect to see a Stroman/Nestor combo used a lot.

You can't just come in and get 1 out. Have to pitch to 3 batters, unless you have the lead in the bottom of the 9th and 2 outs.
