But where the confusion takes me over is, PhD in full-time don't need to qualify net or set that's alright, but what about PhD in part-time candidates. This is the big qn mark now. I guess part-time candidates should qualify net or set or equivalent exams. They should mention this in it bcs this is the part where many people get struck. But they didn't mentioned.

She is misguiding... UGC clearly said NET is not mandatory... you can join as a ASSISTANT Professor with NET or without NET qualification. If you want promotion you should complete phd.. And also she is saying NET is mandatory for doing phd.. You can write NET exam for phd admission.. but NET qualification is not necessary
