I know this is an old game but the umpiring is too inconsistant, sucks that te best umpires are from NZ and AUS. If the Ferns have any chance of claiming a NWC get rid of Mes, she is useless. Commentry go on about her rebounded ability, who cares about rebounds, put the ball through the net FFS!

Yes I agree, Mes is definitely only there for the rebounds. I mean we all know Tutatia is that star and only main shooter of the Silver ferns, But wai uses Mes as a protector and second hand catcher encase Tutatia misses. And when she does get Tutatia's rebounds, she'll give tutaia a second chance. We need a taller shooter, with longer arms. The nz feeders would be unstoppable if they got a tall shooter where they can just feed the ball with 2-3 passes from the center pass which the australians normally do with basset. If mes was as tall as basset, she could be the best Gs in the world.
