Great vid man. Short course is fun but I got tired of the parachuting and overly hot electronics running high amperage at low voltage. That 2.1 looks nice. Bought a used 2.0 and raced it for the first time last weekend and am very impressed with it. Shockingly faster than my old .3. In 2-3 years when there are cheap used 2.1’s available I might get one. Pretty much been following your race RC purchases a few years behind for the last while semi-intentionally. Also using the nb4. Very happy with all of it. Thanks for the helpful content.

Remember new rc cars need breaking in so its only gonna drive better as you get hours on it... great video.

Love these videos. Wish I had a track like that close to me.

You do have to travel to get to them in my experience. None of these 1/8 tracks are close to me, this one is 5 hours away, closest is about 2.

What motor and esc are your running in the tekno eb48 2.1

On the SCT use a dremal so you can shift the battery back.This will help the nose dive. I did this and it saved me from getting rid of the truck...

Good Tip, I've thought about running a 2S shorty towards the rear too. Sometimes it flies great, other times it noses down hard and I cannot correct it.
@gainsrc Жыл бұрын
@@netcruzer the shorty will help with the balance issue however in my experience I've noticed that no matter what shorty pack I use they will fade power-wise during a race. If I use a regular stick pack like 6500 milliamp they hold throughout an entire five minute main. But either way I chased this nose dive issue for almost 6 months to no avail. As soon as I moved the battery it helped significantly. Only time this truck will do it it's if the jump is longer than 10 ft in the air. This is why you get a mix of people saying that there is no nosedive issue, because some people run on smaller tracks without larger jumps. Best of luck!

Great footage! Good info! I LOVE the Gens Ace Redline Drag full stick pack. I use the 6300 in vta onroad. It's a bit heavy but I use them in my carbon chassis tc7. Insane power and low I.R.. I can run 2-3 heats and the main on one charge. The run time is MAGIC!!

Wow nice! Did you solder the 8mm bullet directly to your ESC or what are you using for connection?
@donnienicholson180 Жыл бұрын
@netcruzer at first I soldered the 8mm bullets directly to the esc. Later I changed it. I soldered 5mm bullets INSIDE of the 8mm barrels. If I had a way to show you I'd send pics. This let's me use it in my other cars with 5mn bullets

The older sc truck is a better design which a lot of people agree… you got the better build.

Can’t find chassis protector for eb48 2.1 Where did you get?
@netcruzer10 ай бұрын
I made it from a blank protector sheet. It didn’t last the entire season and can cause some problems if it catches and peels up so I don’t recommend running one for 1/8 off-road. The sticker protectors seem to work better on 1/10
