I just tried this for the first time with my new board and I have to say, I got a great workout! My one comment would be--and this goes to all the dance and workout videos--I would like to see at least of the participants facing in the opposite direction as this would make the footwork a snap to follow. Yes its been 25 years since i was doing step class in Australia, i had just started jogging again to get back into shape, i'm about 20kg (45 pounds) over weight and my legs are quite weak so thought i would do some step class to strengthen my legs etc and yes that 30 min workout felt better than a 4km (2.5 mile) run, thanks heaps

Very good. But since I've not worked out in a while and not done step since 1992 I don't consider it basic or for beginners. I'll work out with some that are for totally for beginners and then come back. Ill be ready then.

Good basic, no frills, low key step workout. BUT...the 2 ads during the workout are an annoying interruption. Who wants to have commercials suddenly pop up?? They broke the flow and also the stream...I had my iPhone connected to a flat screen. Each time, after waiting to tap 'skip ad,' I lost the video and it took over a minute to return.

I tried to do the Step 2 workout and it was really bad. The cueing was terrible - many times, the camera was not even on the instructor when she changed moves and it was obvious that the girls did not know the routine. Also, during the 9 min warm up, she never switched lead foot when doing the step moves. Camera work overall was distracting and confusing. This was my first and last workout with Netfit.
