and he's not an anti hero, that just his characteristic, cuz he a delinquent basically, so he's a good kid but bcs of his environment surrounded by harsh thing such as delinquent, and any criminality on his neighbourhood it makes him and transform him into this kinda bad kid, but deep inside he just had a pure heart, it just his nature. His not an anti-hero at all

Surprisingly, Toonami is still around. It died for a couple of years in the late 2000s but got brought back on Adult Swim.

@@enso8762yes it’s called Ghostfighters in the Philippines and the characters have been given English names. Funny thing is Kurama was misgendered and was only corrected halfway trough. His English name went from Denise to Dennis. I believe the old lady kungfu master was also dubbed as male initially.

I did not expect Yu yu hakusho to be this epic. It was like a full blown anime fight. This show shows how anime adaptations or any other fantasy lvie adaptation could be great

Urameshi yuusuke just naughty boy with good heart , and he stubborn kid and doesn't listen to anybody , he like freedom and solved all problem with his punch .

I won't be able to follow this reaction series since I haven't watched this show but I wanted to say that Yu Yu Hakusho's manga is actually written by Yoshihiro Togashi, and he is the creator of HunterXHunter too..

He said Enma-sama and “sama” is a Japanese honorific used to show respect towards someone. Enma is the god of hell in the Buddhist religion, the god who judges whether the souls of people go to heaven or hell.

Anime live action are two for two right now with One Piece and Yu Yu Hakusho. The only thing I wish is for Yu Yu Hakusho to have more than 5 episode as I feel like a lot was cut but overall I like the live action version of Yu Yu Hakusho. Also why enma jr has a pacifier in his mouth because in the anime he was a baby but they change it for live action which I think was a good choice.

It would have been a good choice if they hadn't made him have the pacifier, because the pacifier doesn't have any reason to be there since they never showed Koenma in his baby form nor explained why he needs it. The pacifier is only there for the fans of the anime and the manga.

@@xKillerx92x, IN THE LIVE ACTION they never showed Koenma in his baby form nor explained why he needs it. Make sure you understand what you are reading before commenting about it, otherwise you will only look like a fucking fool.

It's not a private school, but in Japan, high school is optional and you have to pay a tuition. Well, optional in quotes, because it's expected for students to do high school and most will.

The pronounce is "yusuke" not yasuke, and also those two keiko friends not trying to hook up keiko and yusuke, but they just afraid of yusuke cuz he's a problem kid aka delinquent so everyone in the school kinda afraid of him

My grandfather (shadowdog reactions) just started watching the yu yu hakusho anime he said he would only continue it if it got enough views so that way he knows people want to see reactions to it. It would mean the absolute world to me if you would go show support on his yu yu hakusho videos I really want him to watch it.

those from Ph would relate. YuYu Hakusho is Ghost Fighter. characters are Eugene (Yusuke), Alfred (Kuwabara), Dennis (Kurama), Vincent (Hie), Sharlene (Banto), Jenny (Keiko) , Master Jericho (Koenma), Master Jeremiah (Genkai). Japan still makes way better Live action of their anime compared to others. they just get the vibes and how the characters are supposed to be. Rurouni Kenshin still the best LA i've seen (though some oftheir drama LAs are good, too, on other genres like slice of life and shoujo). This one is good, too, though 5 five episode was too short for the time line they covered. One Piece LA wasn't bad but not for me.

Just to point out the sub is probably for the English dub so there won't be that much accuracy as some Japanese words don't line up with the sub.

My favorite anime Shane!!! Great pickup! I'm gonna watch the LA week to week too. I really enjoyed the first episode and im excited to see how it turns out. Please consider watching the english dub anime one day!!! It's a classic!

Since you mentioned it, Demon Slayer is worth a spot on the channel! It has been one of THE most popular reactions for years now (it always breaks the internet for 1 or 2 episodes a season). Also, I wasn't sure, but did Shane ever watch YuYu Hakusho on Toonami? I assumed from the trailer there were a few changes, similar to the Cowboy Bebop adaptation. ALSO! Did you plan on doing Castlevania Nocturne? You can always wait until season 2, but you'll enjoy it as much as the first series! Anyways, have a great day guys! Merry Christmas to you all!

Hey its actually somethign thats been right on the knifes edge of the schedule- just havent had the time! Did not know it was on toonami back on the day; i might have missed it! the author of the shonen anime usually don't bring religion stuff into their anime or work bcs ppl usually gonna ask all this type of question, but i get it cuz the kid are curious about that i usually don't ask about that i just kept it in my mind cuz if u asking about it, the show is not gonna fun anymore thats how my interpretation is, and also this delinquent thing is big japan too in Y2K, so yeah
