They did have a catastrophic failure is called loosing content. No more friends, nothing marvel and as of later this year no more mgm movies. Also,competition now they have competition. Spiderman 2 PS5 has a 2023 release date and features peter and miles in trailer, maybe there doing more polishing and cross marketing with the game and movie capitalizing on the momentum of both highly anticipated products.

Pinocchio is coming to Disney+. so I highly doubt we'll hear things about Pnocchio. unless, Disney announces that Pinocchio will now be coming to theaters & Disney+ on the same day, then that's a different story. I could be wrong, but I don't think Cinema Con do anything with Streaming.

2:16:30 You have the story wrong. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen came out well after the first Lord of the Rings movie. How it ties into that is that Connery regretted turning down Gandalf so much that he accepted the role as Quartermain to not miss out on a similar opportunity due to turning his nose up at "genre fiction". They weren't directly tied, but one did affect the other.

I think I remember hearing that it was a lift from somebody he used to watch years ago. They used to start their broadcasts with "Greetings and salutations", and he held onto it. When I was a bar trivia host, I would start my intros every night with my own spin on Campea's.

I would love to learn more about independent films. I'm curious, are indie films unpopular essentially due to poor marketing? meaning that because people are not told about them, people can't care. if people were to hear the premise for various indies films that fall into their general movie preferences, would they gain intrigue? or are indie films unpopular because many/most are "bad"? meaning that either the premise of many are uninteresting to most general moviegoers or that if most general moviegoers watched them, they would not enjoy them? i feel like there's an interesting study to conduct here.

Honestly not really surprised. We also cut Russia off from Netflix too, so there’s a lot of viewers gone too. Plus also price rise increase over recent times for the average viewer with other streaming sites is getting a bit much for some people, in some countries the price for the amount of content on Netflix hasn’t been worth it especially here in Australia.

Josh Brolin definitely could be Batman. I'm voting for him as Bruce Wayne in the live action Dark Knight Returns. The guys acting is superb. Thanos is proof he can be dark and brooding. For Thomas Wayne I think the guy who played Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) should be him.

Watched this movie as a teen, loved Bob Seger playing as Tom was rocking! Need to watch Tom the same age as a HS football player, in All the Right Moves, 1983, the next of his after this, then Top Gun in 1986. If you watched Back to the Future, his girlfriend in it is the Mom in BTTFuture. The bad guy in this, that stoled the furniture, is good in one of my favorites, Eddie and the Cruisers. Recommend both, second, good music, story.

I’ll be honest, if It Takes Two is the movie The Rock was talking about, I’m gonna be kinda disappointed. I think it can be a real heartwarming and charming movie, but he described the mystery movie as “one the of most badass games I’ve ever played” which is not something that It Takes Two seems like from what I know about it.

44:15 The big problem with trying to force a deadline is less about the cost, and more about crunch. Animators are often overworked with very little compensation, and for what I’ve heard, Sonic (which you mention) is an example of this. If they are delaying to not crunch animators, kudos.
